I want to play on sensitivity 10 really bad, but each game I start with sensitvity 10, my reticule goes haywire. I have a kontrol freek on my right analog stick, I can control it a LITTLE and the attachment improved my aim a bunch, but I still find myself losing my gun fights on sensitivity 10. Since I’ve been playing Halo, I’ve change my sensitivity 10,000 times between 4 - 10. (If I kept it on what it was when I started playing Halo, I would be a Halo God right now)
But can someone please tell me a good reason of what sensitivity 10 is good for? I only want to use 10 because I can get the max rotation speed without worring about my spartan being limited by only being on 6. (Yea, I play on 6).
10 is the highest sensitivity and you’ll obviously be able to turn faster.
As stated countless times before, controller sensitivity is all about preference. And like you, I always switch from 4-10. Anything below 3 is a bit too slow for me.
If you’re in that “I’m feeling 10” mood than you will aim and be able to play better. I also highly recommend higher sensitivities for close-range combat, as you will be able to locate and take down your enemy before he/she can get onto you. We’ll all had those fights in CQC where we both did the tango with our enemies, spinning around to find him/her.
High sensitivity is usually good for Lone Wolf or 1v1s because you can quickly scout the area. Being able to spin around quickly isn’t that needed in team games, because now, if given, you have the option to listen to call-outs.
I am a gaming enthusiast (I don’t play Halo like all the regular gamepad users), so max sensitivity is a must have for me, I never use anything below it, EVER!. My only wish is that the max sens. was at least doubled, then it would make turning quickly less painful.

That happened to me countless of times. I remember that it happened for so long, it took 7 seconds to find each other. I call that a noob moment. But I’ll play on 10 for a week to get use to it and hopefully I don’t change it again. Thanks for the help guys.
I’m a 10 players myself - mainly because lower sensitivities feel very sluggish to me. You might want to play on 10 for spin speed reasons - you’ll rarely be assassinated.
If you’re having trouble, I’d say try using strafing to adjust left/right shots, and leave up/down to the stick, at least for close engagements. That’ll help with DMR duels.

Correct. But different types of sensitivities have each their own areas where they just work better than others.
Swat - Average, or high sensitivity
Sniper - High, or very low sensitivity
Team Slayer - Any
Team Doubles - Any
1v1s - Usually High, but on for example Heretic/Midship a low would be good
It doesn’t really mean that a person with 5 sensitivity can not win over a person with 10 sensitivity in, for example snipers, because they can, and it happens all the time. It’s just that when you have 10 sensitivity you can get a person into scope a lot faster. It also gives you the opportunity to follow them with your scope more easily as they move.
I play on the highest sensitivity for all games. Wither it’s for rotation/looking speed in Halo or for steering sensitivity in Forza, the higher levels feel more realistic to me.
If you keep changing it around from 4-10, then it just sounds like you need some freakin’ patience. I switched it up and had it at 6 for a long while, and then when I changed it to 10 I was like “this is hardly different at all.” You just gotta get used to it.
You can’t just keep changing it around as soon as something happens in a game that would have gone better with a different sensitivity, dude.
Thanks for all the info and help guys. Very appreciated. Now since I changed from 6 to 10, my friends aren’t gonna invite me to games for a month. Lolz
Fixing this problem is to be in the middle i play on 7… besides its bungies favorite number that and 3…wait…BUNGIE DOESNT MAKE HALO ANYMORE!!! whats a good 343 meme
