I want to participate in the Halo Insider Program.

I would absolutely love to participate in the Halo Insider Program and help shape the future for Halo MCC and Halo as a whole. But a participant has to be at least 18 years old. And I am only 15 years old. What I am wondering is why do you have to be at least 18 years old to participate. I have been a halo fan for the last 7 years, and I have always dreamed of being able to do something like this, and it honestly hurt me to find out that I’m not able to do this just because I’m not old enough. I hope you guys don’t take this the wrong way. I sent this to you guys in the nicest way possible. I also hope you guys will be able to read this. This was taken directly from the FAQ stickied at the top of this forum. Your excitement is commendable, but there are liability concerns given privacy issues that 343 must consider.

Edit: I should also add that your participation on this forum can also contribute to shaping the games you love. Don’t let your age be the determinant here. Good luck Spartan.

I think it has a lot to do with the confidentiality agreement that all Halo Insiders are required to sign and since you’re only 15 you cant legally sign a contract until your 18.

Don’t be too upset about not being old enough to sign of for to be an Insider. After all, it’s meant to test the games, not just play them and do whatever and whenever.
You also technically wouldn’t be able to share the things you do in the Insider Flights with friends and such anyhow, so by the time the game completely launches, which will come in no time, you will be able to play Halo indefinitely without worrying about legality of the flights and such.

Stay on the forums here though! The feedback here is just as important to the future of Halo as anything Insiders and Flights do!
