I want to participate in testing

I really love the whole series of halo, nightmare how you want to play it.

As long as you’ve registered for the flight then you’re all set. Good luck.

Just sign up and wait for the whistle to blow.

You and everybody else my friend haha. Now we wait

Will everyone get in or just some people?

It will vary depending on the needs of the test

Thanks

I just read up on the program to get a bit more information on the topic

I’ll be sure to check by often to see if/when they need me to do some testing

I’ve got not any work for the next 2 weeks so hopefully they’ll require some testing before then heh

I’m guessing it’s just going to be MP for this test though? I’m hoping it’ll have firefight as well though since that will also test things like netcode or servers ect.

> How are flighting participants selected?
> Different flights have different goals and areas of focus for the development team. When a participant pool is being assembled, the team will look at the specific needs and then look across all the Halo Insiders who have opted in to find players who align with those needs. In some cases it’ll be based on things like what kind of hardware specs you’re using – with MCC on PC specifically, the team is going to need to ensure they have specific representation across a broad matrix of PC hardware configurations.Often flights require a critical mass of players online at a particular time, and maybe in a particular region, so your location and availability could also come into play.Once flighting is up and running, the team will likely also focus on active participants who play and provide feedback as candidates for ongoing flighting while players who don’t actually participate may find they’re not included in subsequent releases.

Taken from the FAQ stickied at the top of the forum. It’s worth a read.

Anyone know when the beta test is out and where to look?

Me too! I want to participate Halo MCC Testing on Steam!

They haven’t announced any dates yet, just be patient and keep an eye on your inbox.

I sure hope we can get some tests in the next 2 weeks, that would actually be amazing. But with how often “later this year” is being thrown around, it makes me a bit doubtful…

From my experience with other game testing you’ll usually get to play at some point. At the end of testing phases they usually have a big server stress test and invite everyone. I’ve only once not got to play a game I signed up to test.
