343 won’t waste resources in making new content for hw2 because they won’t profit from it. Furthermore, it wouldn’t be a good idea if the banished cooperate with the UNSC because we wouldn’t have any powerfull excovenant enemies to fight in future games. Btw, resuruction is impossible.

In the Halo Universe, bringing back the dead is possible. The Prometheans, Forrunners creators, exsperimented and sought immortality. While theey failed to find the true answer of immortality and mutating themselves into what is known as the flood, they were able to bring back the dead. When it became clear the flood had to be starved of life, they let them take over the galaxy while they creating a failsafe to bring life back, including the once chosen Humans and the covanent races. Ever wonder why Humans had the gift to use forrunner technology? Thats because Humans were picked as their successors before the mass exstintion.
For how much work was put into them I think the flood are criminally underused. I want some missions where you fight them as UNSC, imagine holding the line with Jerome and just when they are about to break through Kinsano comes in with a bunch of hellbringers.
Imagine a dedicated flood survival mode, either like wave defense or something like Fighting Retreat where you escape through this big rolling map like one of those AoE2/AoM scenario maps or an endless loop.
I was also hoping for some Halo Wars 2 content to be announced at this years E3. They had reached out to the community for ideas a couple of months ago, but we haven’t heard anything since. Hopefully they will bring a new expansion, new maps, new game modes ,new units and new custom game options. The Yap Yap happening was really awesome!!!

I doubt new content will be released in the near future for HW2. The resources the once had and have now are VERY different.

Yeah sorry fellas but there`s not enough of a dedicated market at the moment for this kinda DLC. For an RTS as small as Halo Wars to have an expansion pass as well as a separate expansion is way more than the original game got, where the DLC was some maps and more “Game Modes”, let that sink in. The DLC we have in HW2 is more than sufficient, and im just glad we got that much.
Yes, I also want to new expansion.
I want Noble Team to be resurrected.
I want the Gravemind and 343 Guilty Spark to fight in a 1 on 1 judo deathmatch.
I want the Flood and the Forerunners to cooperate with each other.
I want a Flood carrier form dance party at the end.

The forerunners actually had the tchnology to bring back the dead.
