I just don’t get that feeling any more with it, i mean halo reach could play for hours and even with the level cap, bungie told us when it well be lifted, so I was like okay i will just keep playing a least i know, and i love halo odst i must have killed weeks on firefight, and halo 3, spent more time on that then i eat, same with 2 and 1 but halo 4 has all ready got me to the stage of wanting halo 5, with reach i didn’t even think of halo 4, because i like the game at hand it kept me going even when i did get bored i would relax in forge world and mess around, like throw my self from one side to the other using teleporters ect… I want like halo 4 but its more of a money maker then a game maker
i have said this once before in a much older thread. so ill say it it again. in paraphrase.
People get older. Peoples interest change with age. sometimes it takes seeing something you really wanted as less than what you hoped to realize it.
similar to how you might not like eggs when youre a kid, but you have two scrambled eggs every day before work now that youre an adult. tastes change.
my big wake up call was skyrim. i loved the game. but it didnt give me that feeling that the previous games did. and it took some time to realize it but after a week or two i finally figure out that the problem wasnt with the game, it was with me.
im not saying you may have out grown the series. what im saying is that right now, at this point in your life, it just may not be what you actually want.
this is the reason why I despise gaming communities, they dont appreciate the good things about a game nor do they hate the things that are actually bad.
the MP in reach was horrendous, this much is certain, however it is worth noting that the SP and forge was great.
what Im trying to say is that if you complain about pointless garbage all the time then the developers will end up fixing those issues instead of the ones that actually matter.

Bulldust, most people that actually played it LOVED Halo: CE and other brilliant games like Half Life and Bioshock. Gaming comunities are good for that very reason; we have high standards and expectations are we aren’t afraid to voice what we think and know are bad points in a game. That means that the game has a better chance at being better. God forbid we give feedback on a game. If we also happen to hate the game, so be it, we are perfectly within our rights to do so. Halo 4 is not good. Not because of what it introduced, but what it left out. There’s no excuse to leave out important options from past games. Sequels are meant to build on the predecessors, not completely ignore them.

The whole “growing older and losing taste” is used as an excuse most of the time.
As for “It not being what you actually want”, well yea, this sequel was a huge let down.

What?
Nobody is complaining about anything in this thread, you’re just ranting.
The majority of you just can’t seem to handle people not loving your beta.
