i don’t know if its bad lag or what …im on 60mb down and 30up fiber optic with a average of around 13 ping on most games and from the uk,
Im having serious instadeath issues to the point where its becoming unplayable im putting between 5-6 bursts from a battle rifle into someone and still not getting the kill for them to one burst me like they are playing swat!! ive tried everything reset router ect ect its like my guns firing marshmallows nothings working. my friend is also having the same problem can someone please help i want to enjoy this game but atm its fast becoming a standing joke ( p.s i am aiming for there head and getting constant hit markers so i am hitting my target) please help thanks in advance

thanks for replying i thought it was the game as i have tried everything at my end it is so frustrating. will it be fixed anytime soon do you know? or is it the match making having no regions do you think ? for eg uk - usa us uk people having around 165 ping to us servers
Its the game…best way to test that out is to try a SWAT game. 3 headshots wont even kill sometimes…
I’m UK with 8 down 1 up at best. Yesterday was fine for me, but am back on MCC now until new playlists and possible aim changing is done.

on swat i dont seem to have a prob but i have noticed the head hit markers say every 3 games or so on a random person now you say that
Does anybody know where the servers are located as there isnt any way to choose a region in settings? this would explain alot
I’m in the UK and have a Netduma router which tells me where I’m connecting to.
So far the closest server I have had was USA somewhere near the Midwest but eight times out of ten I connect to the one in Seattle, average ping is upwards of 160ms.
If there are European servers (let alone UK servers) I have not connected to them.

The servers, as far as I know, are in the US - which explains the grief that European players are experiencing. Microsoft does have servers in Ireland and the Netherlands, but I don’t think Halo 5 is hosted on those servers.
Hopefully the server issue will be fixed, as it often givers players in the US a decidedly unfair advantage in firefights. I’ve managed to get three headshots on an enemy player with the BR, only for them to turn around, spray me once with the AR, and kill me. Frustrating at times.

Thanks for the replies guys i thought the servers was us based this explains alot of the shizzle us uk and eu players are getting fingers crossed it will get fixed fast as this is out right annyoing as hell at the moment like snapnall says also this is happening to me more than to often. All i want is a fair firefight and at the min this game feels far from it. I want to be able to enjoy playing not raging at the screen with all the bs
