I want the 6 in the title.

It’s been numerical the whole series and doesn’t make sense to remove it

They’ve stated years ago that they wanted to move away from using numbers in title, that’s why guardians was added to halo 5, to warm up players to the idea of names games. And honestly it makes sense if you account for the idea that they’re going to be making many games and seeing stuff like halo 11 will end up getting old and make the series feel worn out.

I would’ve liked a 6 too, but I’m not opposed to this. It sounds pretty badass and gives the appearance to new players that they won’t be lost when jumping into the sixth entry in the main story.

I don’t need the 6, like it more without

Man, at least it wasn’t called Halo Infinity like a bunch of people thought it would be. Idk why but the ‘Infinite’ name sounds really cool and mysterious whereas ‘Infinity’ sounds just lazy despite the fact they mean basically the same thing. But back round to the topic, I don’t mind the lack of number. Numbers make things sound aged and old, and I would usually argue that most people cannot figure out the chronology of something but the Avengers is clear evidence that that’s not true.

I’m glad they’re doing away with numbers tbh.

I wouldn’t want a title like Halo 12 or something xD

I think Halo Infinite is a great name for Halo 6 lol.

They said before that they want to move away from numbered titles. I personally don’t mind but I understand why it would bother some

I’m fine with the way they did Halo 5. The number gives clarity to the timeline, and the name gives you anticipation for the story. If they did away with the numbers and (God forbid) start churning titles out, looking back it may become more confusing when trying to organize the games temporally.

I’m okay with it going away. I don’t want Halo to become worn out. The title itself makes me happy and to see.

Like other game titles. They are getting boring lol. Idk if I am allowed to even bring up a different game franchise here, I doubt it lol.

That’s fine if they don’t like numbers. But if you are going to continue the Master Chief Saga which has been strictly numerical and are continuing his story in the events following Halo 5, you should include Halo 6 or else it just sounds like it’s some spin-off game.

Bring on Halo 26!

I wanted halo 6 to be the title as well.

Exactly! I can’t imagine that they can do that many more titles with the chief. I think they should just do 7 Halos and then end the main series and start a new one without numbers focused on other Spartans

They said they wanted to move away from numbers years ago , with this quote coming from Bonnie Ross,
“At some point, we do want to stop numbering. Especially on Xbox One,” Ross said in the latest issue of OXM (via Gamer Headlines). “If I had my druthers, we wouldn’t have called Halo 4 that–we really look at that game as the start of where [Master Chief]'s going. At some point we need to drop the number and still [let you] know you’ve got a big story coming.” and this was also said too, "we might never see “Halo 6” released with that exact name.
