I paid for the Halo 4 map pass on deal of the week. I have yet to play a map from the previous two map packs and I can only play Castle maps using the playlist. It has been over a week now and I am getting tired of playing the same maps I have already played HUNDREDS of times. My question is this…what the beep* is the point of me spending my money on maps I can’t play?
What are you playing at 343? Make a playlist for the dlc maps so I can actually PLAY what I have paid for. God knows the playlists are full of enough beep* already, it wouldn’t kill you.

Its very probably that there will be a all DLC playlist in the future, but is also obvious you won’t get your money back no one forced you to buy the product.

I don’t think he’s literally asking for his money back. He’s just making a point.

Still as I said no one forced him to buy the product, maybe he should research before buying a product.
You paid for 9 maps. You got 9 maps.
Where’s the need for the refund? I can understand wanting the others to show up more often, but from a business standpoint, you got what you paid for.
I would direct the complaint into the Matchmaking or Wargames forums and see if you can get something going.
Otherwise, get friends that have the DLC, and play with them. From my experiences, whenever I play with my friends that have the DLC, DLC maps pop up more frequently than when I play alone.

So everyone should do some research before buying Halo 4 DLC ergo finding out that one will hardly ever play most of the maps that they buy thus rendering purchasing said DLC much less desirable?
Is that where it should end? Is 343 content with that outcome to the point that they shouldn’t try to make these DLC maps appear more often in matchmaking and in turn make them more desirable to purchase?

What I mean is that he and everybody should be sure what they are getting to avoid exactly this type of situations.

I know what you’re saying.
I’m just explaining that when a company markets their products they’re going to inevitably convince people to purchase those products. People who will trust that company to provide them with something satisfactory, especially one that tries to come off as professional as 343. And, when these products are not up to the expected standards, customers have a right to express their disdain so any problems will not be ignored.

Yes I can understand that but at least give them some time castle was released this month they only hace castle DLC playlist because its the newest hit, Im pretty sure that in the future there will be something as a all DLC playlist that will only focus on the 3 map packs.
^I don’t get why you are so content to pay for something and then not be able to use it. Then you assume this is normal. That’s like buying a new car and then putting in the garage for a year. Logic like this baffles me. If you buy it, you should be able to use it.
When I got mine every one I know thought it was a preorder type deal?
I don’t even think the map pass should of still been for sale after they release the 1st map pack. It’s like why are they available singly and the map pass it’s self I can imagine is cheaper than a single map pack.

Great. Another downfall of another map pack. Maybe if people wouldn’t overhype the map packs, they would still have flavor.
Asking for a refund is ridiculous but the OP has a point. I missed out on the Majestic map pack after taking a break from Halo 4 and I can no longer play the maps as there is no playlist for them and its rare to even find them in other playlist, it has become even more rare for me to find a Crimson map for once.
It doesn’t matter whether the OP should have done some research before buying the product, the product should have actually worked in the first place and should have been worth the money. Otherwise, you can say 343 just stole your money right from under your feet.
We’re paying for something that we can’t even play. 343 definitely needs to make a playlist containing all of the DLC maps exclusively. Not just Castle.
