I want my legendary (red) flames and if possible, my eternal (blue) flames to transfer over to halo 4’s MM. Along with my recon [UA] helmet. I mean if gears of war can do it with the gold lancer and gold hammer burst, why can’t 343? Oh, and name plates too! Any one else feel this way?

Well personally I think they should have a carry iver system that gives you the option to unlock any armour you had in Halo 3 and Reach.
I’d actually prefer to unlock it all again, but I don’t think flames should be a legendary edition thing or anything anymore.
Personally, I really don’t want to see those again.

I agree, I too worry if the game will be any good now that bungie isn’t the one doing it. But I like my flames, and I would like to see them transfer over. Bc I’m not going to buy a legendary edition from 343 since I don’t know if it would be worth it to invest that kinda of money into a group who’s work I don’t even know will be up “to my standards”. Yeah I agree with some of the folks on here that its time for something new when it comes to armor effects I.E. flames and such. Its not fresh anymore. I like the idea of things carring over from previous games or unlocking something if you acheived something in the older game and being rewarded for that I think is cool.Its why I like Gears. Also I’ll go on to the remaking of maps that have been remade before need to be thrown out. This is a (hopefully) fresh start for Halo and new things need to be done. New decade new rules.

I personally think things like the flaming helmet and inclimite weather are silly, and I’m hoping things like that don’t return.

There’s a reason there exclusive. They show the persons fandom. If any one could have them then they would be as lame as the armor waypoint let u unlock for past games. The only people u see with that stuff are people who just (for some reason) got the game and don’t have enough credits to get other stuff. I don’t think every one should be able to use it or be able to unlock it bc of a nameplate they have. They have to be carried over bc u already have them.
Only reason I play Halo is to see those flames around! Lol!

In case you didnt know halo 4 will have been in development for a VERY long time. Im sure they will have the gameplay down.
I personally think this is a GREAT idea. kind of a way to show respect for bungie by letting the people who got blue flames keep them and letting the people who got red flames keep them.
^ i am well aware of that. However, that doesn’t mean gameplay is down. The concept is probably, but we don’t know anything about it, which is reason to worry. Also, reach’s gameplay wasen’t down (hence all the changes after the beta) so i doubt they have got it balanced completely yet.

I have red and blue flames. I also have all the name plates but I think they should just stay away from armor effects. While some may be cool ones like Inclement Weather and GBD are annoying. IW looks like wings and I always think IW kids shields are popped when they aren’t. Grunt Birthday Party is cool as a campaign option but it’s sorta dumb in multiplayer. The only thing I think should be introduced if anything is if you played Every single Halo game you get a different colored service record or something like that. Just so people know you’re a vet. And when I say every I mean…
