I feel like this game always forces you to use the Battle Rifle. No matter if it’s warzone or arena it seems to always be shoved in your face. I don’t like the BR and if I had a choice I would choose the DMR. This is my only complaint with the multiplayer.
I love the BR.
I have to admit i am new to Halo and the B/R i did struggle with in my first few games with it but its all about the aiming with that weapon its such a strong weapon has a good scope and can shoot very well when blind firing.
I find the Pistol and the B/R are all you need in Warzone.
I love the BR in Arena but I think the DMR would be better in Warzone… Still haven’t found it in the req packs yet though.

All of the guns for with the same accuracy, ether they are scoped or hip fired. The ADS is only augmented through the helm mets visor as a HUD.
the dmr fires much faster than the br and has a more long range scope.
I’ve always been a fan of BR and I like Halo 5’s pistol but the DMR in Halo 5 is soooo deadly. I have yet to unlock it.
The only time I get time use the DMR in Warzone is when I find one that an enemy dropped after I killed him…I too am chasing that carrot but every time I open a pack I just get the stick
My Setinel BR is a blessing. It has 4x and 8x scope and feels just like the old school BR with a little extra “oomf”. 9/10. Would bang again.
While I don’t know how 343 can address it, I agree, I would like more opportunities to use the DMR. It’s been one of my favorite weapons in the Halo games since Reach.
