Incase you’re pondering, The blue flames is linked to the ‘bungie’ nameplate. Bungie nameplate gone = no Blue flames.
The question remains, Do we still keep the blue flames? (I HOPE SO!)
If you downloaded it then the “key” for blue flames is already on your Xbox, which they can’t remove. If you already have the blue flames then you get to keep them until your Xbox/Hard Drive dies.

While not being a programer so really having no idea, I would imagine that is part of the game menu ie:armor effect, I think that sweet little perk will stay. Im sad to see the nameplates go though =(

Not true. That would mean you could use the blue flames offline which you can’t. You have to be connected to the server in-order for them to show up.

To aid the OP, changing nameplates will be unavailable after transition, you’ll keep your flames.
