I want my 17343 XP 343/Microsoft

It’s really unfair that me and others were not able to receive the XP for the monthly challenge because of the daily XP cap. In my case, my 117th victory was when I hit the daily xp cap, making it so I earned nothing from the monthly challenge.

It kinda ruins the fun of the game TBH.

I suggest planning better next time.

I’m sure it will come up when the xp cap is done. Quit with the Knee Jerk reactions people

I didn’t get it even though I didn’t even get capped.

So much BS in this game.

so many crying f4gg0ts on this forum.

Right-- Were just whiners, even though this is clearly bs.

Here is a picture of a bridge. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_L8mjIpfDBBI/TBzQvSuQifI/AAAAAAAAAwo/Xdk85aPHTN0/s1600/small-bridge003.jpg

Now get over it.

So…basically you guys who say “get over it” think that they did all that hard work for nothing? BS! They should have been rewarded the credits the next day if they already reached their credit cap.

If it would make you feel better, you can cry on my manly broad shoulder.

I find myself on both sides of this one. While the reasoning behind the daily xp cap makes sense to me, I was one of the players that did not get my xp for the monthly challange. I have been using the double xp promotion but using it seems pointless. Why use the codes if in just makes me hit the xp cap so much faster. I hate wasteing time and having challenges go to nothing. Offering a double xp promotion then limiting how much xp you could get a day is not very smart. I don’t see this the typical “whining” thread I have grown so used to seeing here. Maybe you should only be able to get xp from challenges and commedations after you hit the cap.

It’s a game. You’ll have more than enough chances for more. By next month, none of you will even care what happened today.

Thats entirely besides the point.

Yes, it’s a game that penalises you for playing it.

No other game does this. Even Reach didn’t do this; everyone was capped at Commander until it was raised, so people at lower levels could still keep ranking up through the long slog that was Warrant Officer.

Here, it’s not like the levels haven’t been released yet. I’ve seen people at rank 68, so why the hell is it ‘fair’ to cap me and my friends who are trying to slog through the 40s, or people who have challenges and commendations stolen from them?

The cap is total BS, and needs to go. For common sakes sense if nothing else. Who the hell puts in something that says “Stop playing the game now, we don’t want you to play anymore!”?

Bump

With all the GOOD things Reach had, that they took out, I’ll never know why they left the BAD things like the XP cap.

They can’t even make the case for trying to maintain balance between players, as limited edition owners could easily be at SR80 by now, while normal edition players are stuck at 70, many of them significantly lower than this.

Another thing they fail to realize with CP caps, is that it disproportionately affects weekend warriors.

You could play 2 hours a day each weekday for 10 hours a week and never hit the cap, while somebody who can ONLY play on Saturday for 10 hours gets capped out early in the day.

In short, the XP cap isn’t protecting players, it is harming them.

I have been very selective in my use of double exp. I understand that there is a daily exp cap, so I only use a couple 2xp codes a day. As for the weekly, I stopped playing before I reached it so I was sure that when I started playing the next day I was going to get all of it. I understand the frustration. I understand that this management and planning shouldn’t have to be done. But it does. At this point, I’m sure everyone knows of the cap including you.

I’d say poor planning. If you know there is a cap and you want all of that rewarded exp, you should have planned for it. It’s not that hard. There is always next month.

Damn that sucks. If you got the challenge you should get the xp bottom line. Hope it gets resolved for you man. Im still about half way. My professors decided to have all these tests and papers before thanksgiving so haven’t played as much as I’d like too. I would be pissed if I played, got the challenge but received nothing.

  1. Plan ahead. I did so I would not get screwed out of it. At time of this post you still had 2 weeks to complete it. There was no rush.

  2. This is what happens when people in the community do not report or demand that permabans be handed down to XP farmers – developers create daily caps.

  3. Do I think daily caps suck? Yes. Am I ok with daily caps? Yes! Why? Because of the people stated in #2.

  4. As a gamer in the Xbox Live Community it is YOUR DUTY to report people like XP farmers. WE PAY for this service, so WHY SHOULD we settle for people that abuse and exploit games. YES it is YOUR DUTY to report people that ruin and exploit the games. You have the tools to use in the Xbox Guide to, prefer players with good feedback, avoid players with bad feedback, and report players that cheat and exploit (I use these tools all the time). Doing so is no different then YOUR DUTY to vote in Nov if live in the United States. DO NOT complain about stuff if you did NOTHING to help stop it. If you played Reach (especially in Firefight) people just XP farmed as if their life depended on it. Did you report or help organize something to permaban those people?

Bottom line is people need to get permabanned for their unsavory behavior.

Their behavior ruins the game for others. It takes just one bad apple . . . then bam! We all get screwed.

Its funny how every said the progression system sucks and Ranks in Reach or Halo 4 mean nothing but when they don’t get their little XP its a riot.
