I want Halo 4 to be SCARY!

I’ve been Talking with my friends about our halo memories, and what missions scared us the most. We agreed, 343 guilty spark, Sacred Icon, and quarantine zone. So With this I rally want halo 4 to be scary. I want missions that I need to take brakes in between because it’s scary.

I agree, that would be pretty interesting. Prometheans around every corner

I’d love another 343 Guilty Spark mission. It was so creepy and quite a change in pace compared to the missions before it. I love that stuff.

I agree, not horror game scary, but that 343 GS creepy. It was perfect, maybe a bit more.

That’s weird. I was never scared or creeped out by any Halo game.

You must have no soul…

But they really weren’t that scary… I guess I was in the mindset of ‘I’m a super-soldier, nothing can hurt me.’

I would like 1 or 2 creepy missions but i would hate if the game became full of horror. To me halo is a game of wonder and mystery and i feel that adding to many scary elements would ruin that

i wasen’t that scared either

i mean, i’ve had a few moments where i was like “holy crap, where the hell did you come from?”
but never something like “OMGWTFBBQ I JUST FRIGGEN CRAPED MAH PANTS WHEN I SAWS YOU COMIN’ OUT OF NOWHERE!!!z!!”

Halo CE - the library was another good one

There should be some scary parts… Maybe a scary level or something, or boss.

You have a point.

Yes, we need somewhat scary missions. Reach had none and neither did ODST. Hopefully Halo has somewhat scary missions, they were really fun and enjoyable.

Really the only campaign that ever made me scared was Halo CE (343 Guilty Spark and The Library).

Halo needs to be more gory, not Gears gore, but just more blood when you kill something. I agree it should be a bit more scary, it should earn the M rating. Reach should of been Teen. Maybe some kind of Promethean scan (like we seen in the trailer) would disable every thing in the HUD. If the flood came back, if we go to another Halo Installation it could maybe take a new form on the elites, humans and whatever else. But there needs to be a scary level.

You know what scared me the most in all of Halo? Reading about the Flood in Primordium. Especially that part where the characters are just sitting in a Forerunner tram, relaxing, when suddenly a bunch of horribly mutilated Flood-forms that were there the whole time materialize out of thin air and just quietly walk off.

That’d make a pretty sweet jump-scare.

Chief: Riding on Tram
Shuffle, shuffle
Chief: Turns around HOLY MOTHER OF GLOB!!!

Actually the ODST campaign had Data Hive. It was a little scary, I mean a tiny bit… right?

Oh yes, I actually do remember a few scary ODST missions. It was mainly dark as well on deserted streets. It was scary on solo.

And for the record, by scary I mean a little unnerving and spooky.

I think it will be, it is supposed to have a more mature theme anyways.

Im sure there will be thrilling parts, just don’t expect the whole game to be “scary” because its not likely to happen.

EDIT: Plus im pretty sure they already have the campaign complete or almost complete so whats there is there.
