i think a beta before the multiplayer will benifit the game so the community can help make those last second changes just to make the game better

the second bata needs to be more of a traditional beta aka “server test” after the disastrous launch of TMCC 343i needs to make this launch flawless. After playing the first beta i really love what they are doing and listening to our feedback, so that is making me happy. and also that the betas matchmaking was smooth and worked better then the MCC ( at least for me) is a good sign. 343 just needs to keep doing what they are doing and H5 will be great.

I missed the first one because I bought HMCC late due to my knowledge of Matchmaking issues. So yes I would like a second beta.
A second beta open to everyone would definitely boost the user base. No need to sign-up, be a part of the preview program, or purchased the MCC. Just go to demo section on the XBO and download the H5: G beta.
That would be the ideal situation.

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
You can log onto Steam and find dozens of games in open or limited beta testing with release dates at least a year away or with no announced release date. It’s extremely common for developers without large budgets to open games for beta testing so they can get feedback for free without hiring their own playtesters.
They’re also actual betas unlike console ideas of betas which are basically just game trials/demos. As in the dev can make massive changes to the game prior to release while 343 is only going to make minor adjustments because they aren’t changing any core features anymore.

Why not be the first. I think their should be a second beta, good idea and 343 will get way more data. Its also a nice thing for the players and gives them something to do well halo 5 is on the way. Yes we could play master chief collection. But that still has a buggy multi-player and it’s something we have already played before. It gets boreing after a bit and you just move on.

Yeah, 343 will get more data a ton of people in the fanbase will say they are lying about because it won’t match up to their pre-conceived notions.

If you have to do another beta it means you didn’t use your first one properly.
Now as for a way to fill the void where MCC failed. I can’t argue with that. I’d probably play another H5 beta if it has working matchmaking.
But you won’t get it.

ok How about this No AAA studios Have beta a year before they are released.
Indy developers and smaller studios Releases Beta and alphas more as a way to gauge thing being a beginning developer. But more well established Developers Never have betas that early. And steams a whole other beast in and of itself.
I think most people who want another beta is so they can play again… with vehicles too… I know I want to…
I’d like the second beta to preview the tweaks they’ve made, add more opinions, get a good server stress test, and see how big team plays.

Maybe just like a week long beta to stress test the servers a month before h5 is released so we don’t get a MCC repeat, I’d hate to skip a day of work or collage classes for the game to not work.

And nobody else had a “true” beta or whatever they said either. Plus other games aren’t having troubles like 343 is having. If they release another beta for even a few days it’s going to do nothing but just show people that they are working hard, they are listening and H5 will NOT be such a disaster as MCC. Imo 343’s true priority IS H5, they are either going to have the majority working on H5 and a small group on MCC or work on mcc a few days compared to H5. The game is coming out relatively soon (Or so it is speculated) so honestly I see MCC being fixed after or close to the release of H5.

Or maybe you should just get the education you’re paying for and see that college may be more important then a game, it’ll always be there later lol
