I agree 100%, in the MCC we always get stuck playing the same maps over and over again and i’m sure if there was an option, players would vote to vote for none and get a second batch of options. In the MCC there just isn’t enough randomness. I have put in hours and hours and still have yet to get into a Gungoose match, I almost did once…but then the game crashed back to the menu.

As long as it’s not the same asinine formula destiny uses for it’s map choosing i’ll be fine with it.

I remember reading that they were considering eliminating the voting option, but I didn’t realise this was what they had decided on. Is there a source for this?
I’m in two minds on that. On the one hand it’d be nice to see more of the game by playing all of the maps. On the other, limiting our options (again) and being forced to play a map everyone hates kinda sucks.
Maybe ranked should have no voting but social could have it?

for real people pick there favorite maps i get that but then what if the maps were picked randomly now rather then ok i got this you have to be on your game all the time because you dont know what map will be picked it makes for a fun eperience of not the same thing over and over and over and over and over.

Al ot of people do tend to vote the maps that they know very well, in other words…their comfort zone. So in a way, I wouldn’t mind it being totally random…but whatever.
It all sort of depends on how good the randomizer is. cough destiny cough cough
But… if you vote for no voting, how can you have voted in the first place? If you can’t vote, how do you vote for no voting?
…I kid. Destiny uses this system and it works marvellously. I can only imagine that MM on that game would be a neverending slog of three maps if it wasn’t.
For Halo, however, I’d prefer Halo 3’s ‘Veto’ system; you can’t vote for a map, but you can vote against one.
Just make it like Gears 3 or Titanfall. An endless cycle. So much better than either voting or veto. Because with veto you dont know what youre gonna get, and in my experience its usually a worse gametype on a worse map. And when people can vote you get this crap:

Each playlist will rotate through a variety of maps – there won’t be a vote or veto system used.

Veto system
I really hope the no vote system applies for everything, and not just war zone. It is partially because of the voting that I have not played halo since the halo 5 beta. Currently the MCC is always the same maps, and usually just slayer. If I wanted to just play slayer all the time I would play COD.
With the vote system as it is people will never get to try new things, and will miss out on great game types like one of my old favorites Drunken Fiesta.
I would like it to be here is map #1 if you don’t like map #1 you and everyone else can vote to veto and it will randomly select another map and that is the one that you get stuck with.
