So after reading that Ghandi thread, I now see why people critcize this game so harshly.
Before I begin to write, i should probably say when i first started playing halo. Basically, I’ve been playing this series since 2001…when I was five. Around 2005, i stopped playing halo 2 multiplayer because my cousin moved to dallas. In 2011, I bought COD BO, and later on MW3… on the PS3(I hated thast game so much!!!). It wasn’t until april of this year that I bought every halo game on the 360, and played it on multiplayer for the first time since 2005 too.
Now, I am viewed as a casual by most of you. Some of you might even hate me because I bear that title.(I do however wnt to become competitive) But thats the thing, I’m a casual… and your a competitive player. What’s going on in the halo community is the following…
Casuals in halo 4 outnumber the competitive at this point.
To make this clear, it’s like a country that is trying to shove the other minorities ideas straight to the trash bin. To me, Halo 4 is the best halo game i’ve played. But, I think my casual (and former COD)mindset has blinded my overall view of the game. Like many other casuals i’m sure. I now see why the following issues are so big…
- Weapon inbalnces.
- Lack of small or medium sized maps.
- Glitches.
- No ranked playlist.
- MLG/competitive in general
- Core mechanics that make halo…halo.
- Declining population
- Ordinance drops
- Random weopon spawns
The point is that see now that you weren’t trying to bash on this game… you were trying to protect it! I hope that your demands are met, because for me being a halo fanboy, the situation that you all are in, is just sad. I tip my hats off to you veterans and competitive alike for not only sticking to this game, but also for trying to stand for what you believe in. You make this comunity what it is and also what makes it’s strength.
Until then, I’ll see you on that ranked playlist when it comes out.
