I find it hard to beleive that any group of eight randoms will be beating this with just ARs and magnums.

The majority of the difficulty of Firefight in the past was the endurance it took to win not the fight. I only wish 343i would of known that.

exactly, it’ll incentivize people to spend money on gold pack bundles. Remember everybody 343i doesn’t care about your fun as much as they care about your money.

Seriously though, 343 doesn’t understand that the difficulty of Firefight wasn’t because of bullet sponge enemies, it was the overwhelming amount of enemies against four people and having to use whatever weapons you found on the battlefield. Hell, even with REQs enemies still take forever to die. Add to that their insane accuracy and the amount of damage they deal, it’s insane.
I’m all for Firefight being hard, but this was the wrong way to do it.
Even in the beta, you needed at least a couple tanks on the last round to kill all the mythic wardens on time… it’s just that a lot of people are stingy and refuse to spawn heavy vehicles during Warzone Firefight, leading to a loss
Are all these REQs we’re getting from WZFF just temporary? Otherwise I can’t see how it would be about money because for every vehicle I use I get 2-3 back it seems. I’ve been going through Scorpions and Mantis’ like tissue paper and I keep getting more. Even without the REQs we’re being handed I’m earning tons of credits to buy packs.

It is kind of hard to get all your reqs wasted in WF, as the respawn time barely allows you to use them a lot
The game is about the req system. It does not force you to buy packs, but it highly encourages it. Think about it, the highest req pack thing is like $99 that’s more than the game itself cost.
Yup, you gotta break out the heavy weapons. No doubt!

You can play oddball, just not in matchmaking
Could you blame them? In my opinion the req system works really well with Firefight.
I for myself have enough reqs to use in Firefight so I do not worry that I burn quickly through them.
It’s nice that I can spawn in the weapons and vehicles I love to use. It makes the experience even more fun for me.
And to be honest, you really do need reqs, without them you do not stand a change against the stronger enemies.
