I thought that the Composer was a person....

T4R

Before Halo 4 campaign, I had thought that the Composer was a person/being. At least that’s what I gathered from Primordium.

I was thinking of a spider-like machine, but I see where you’re coming from.

I’ve thought it was a machine.

HAHA I thought it was a person or too!!!. Since there were titles such as Manipular, lifeshaper, etc.

You may be thinking of The Confirmer here, a Promethean who was placed in charge of maintaining the quarantine of the homeworld of the San’Shyuum

I thought it’d be an AI to be honest. Rather than a glowy obilisk alone.

I thought it would have been a machine that had the being go inside, rather than a giant death ray.

I had an image in my mind of the Ssi-Ruuk entenchment table from Star Wars: The Truce at Bakura.

Both devices have a similar function.

I always thought it was a machine.

I never thought it was that huge.

I also thought it was something that you lied down on a table, and then it hung above you and extracted you.

They actually sort of showed that in the terminals, its possible they were extensions of it. What we saw being in halo 4 was probably after the didact had converted it into more of a weapon than the “tool of immortality” that was its original purpose.

That being said, I sort of agree with the OP. Primordium did alot of speculation as to its origin, one of which was a forerunner frozen in the final stages of flood infestation.

Nobody really knew what the Composer was. I thought it was a Forerunner melded with a machine myself and definitely not as big as it was.
