Nice assumptions but you couldn’t be more wrong if you tried. Halo 3 is garbage for 4v4/comp, especially compared to H1/2. Want a real reason? 343 maps don’t have effective power positions, power items are poorly placed and on extremely slow timers. Who thought putting sword and repulsor at the bottom of Recharge was a good idea? The kind of person who thinks Haven is a good map.
Halo CE and 2 were only good because of the time they were released.
The spawns are (mostly) ridiculously bad by today’s standards.
Half the maps on those games were bad if not worse than today’s too.
Halo 2 had to use all the good maps from Halo CE. You can’t sit here and tell me Elongation was a good ranked map.
Show me, in quotes, where I said Longest/elongation was good. I’ll be waiting.

Ivory tower is literally one of the best ball maps, right up there with Guardian and Lockout. Good for koth as well.

Basically all the MLG combos worked well tbf.
@Buffdaddy_Jamal I get it you love Bungie, I do too but you have to admit Halo 1,2,3, and reach weren’t flawless works of art. Every Halo game had that map you despise. Some games more than others but you can’t hate on 343 maps just because.

I believe that was the case. Repulsor is placed under a cliff and by an edge for obvious reasons. Theres also plasma grenade spawn right by the energy sword spawn for obvious reasons. The sword is a power weapon that can definitely be a turn point in the map.

Agree entirely. It’s a lose lose. Delay something already known about and people moan, release something not ready, people moan.
Testing is such a hugely important part of any software and game development. Yoy have to trust the process

The fact the progression system is almost two years post launch is an absolute failure on 343i part. It’s embarrassing and wrong. So many good thing and so many blaring things that are colossal failures.
