I must say that the forge map playlist seems to be a glimmer of hope for this game. For the first time since Halo 4’s release, I actually had a lot of fun playing on these maps. They seem to be a bit smaller, great for flag games and slayer. I can’t remember all of the names of the new maps, but I’m definitely in favor of most of them.
The maps that came with the game and even the downloadable maps are just way too huge for me to have fun playing. These new maps prove that just because a halo game has spring, DOESN’T mean that maps should be increased by cosmic proportions!

I was in a hurry and try to click edit, but apparently didn’t. Do you feel better now that you’ve acquired that information?
I remember when Halo 2 came out it was HORRID. So many exploits and glitches, but over the years it shaped up to be one of the best multiplayer game i’ve ever played. Maybe even THE best.
It takes time, but I think that Halo 4 will shape up. I had NO hope for Halo 2 when it came out, I thought online sucked… and bam it blew me away after a few years.
I miss it.
Most people may say that people nowadays aren’t patient at all. But I can say the same for Halo 2. The Bungie forums were just as much as a mess when it came out as they are here now. Nothing’s changed, just the people to remember it.
I’ve adored every single map in the playlist, be it Infinity Slayer on Relay and Lockout/Shutout, or a good old game of CTF on Simplex. This playlist is a very good example of how Halo thrives in a small 4v4 environment, meaning that we need more small maps!
