My Thanksgiving night was a gaming night with family and a very interesting learning experience. I had my 2 TV 2 XB1s setup for local Halo 5 (expensive setup for forced online local co-op). All my family wanted to do though was play old Halo Firefight and Black Ops 2 Zombies, because they were tired of playing the same Warzone Firefight over and over again. Plus, most of us were drunk.
I was hoping for a H5 night.
Bottom line: If we had at least a few PvE modes, we could have spent our epic family night enjoying H5. Not every gamer wants to PvP 99% of the time. I can, but they can’t.
Lesson learned: If you want Halo 6 to sell like crazy, make more PvE modes, and for the love of God give us back that other feature. I’m sure Scorpio can help pull it off.
I think they should have a firefight mode that can be played offline with a max of 4 or 5 players but WITH MARINES OR ODST to help. Also, maybe an assault mode where you (or your team) storm a covenant base or something WITH MARINES OR ODST.

I know. I was hoping my little experience could add to the pile.
Cool family. I wish mine was into games. Surprised you stuck with H5 though unless you don’t have a 360. I probably would’ve went with Reach’s FF instead. Or, went with Reach on the XB1 through backwards capability.
I think the request for more PVE is almost unanimous at this point. Just see how long it takes to find a game of Firefight against how long it takes to find an Arena match on Expanded…

I agree with this. I posted in a thread a long time ago that I would welcome RPG type elements to campaign, to improve and prolong it, I think PvE modes is another opportunity to improve our experience, you got my vote. Imagine 50 Spartans getting together for a showdown against a common enemy ? If anyone has played Defiance you’ll get what I mean.

I don’t get REQ points for playing the campaign, and I don’t think I’d touch the campaign again even if they paid me to do it.
I do agree that we need more proper Objective Gametypes and better implementation of those gametypes, but a non-uber-Mythic PvE mode that pays REQ points without having to fight other people would be quite welcome to me as well.
