I think we get it...

People want Infection, COOL! Flooding the forums when it is obvious when it, along with other game types, will eventually be put in the game is down right annoying. Coming on the forums to cry for Infection every other day won’t make it get here any sooner. I personally am getting to the point where I might start making anti-Infection posts. Now that I think about it…

UP WITH KOTH, CTF, and ODDBALL. DOWN WITH INFECTION!!!

To my knowledge, there hasn’t been any word from 343 that new gametypes are coming. You can’t make any assumptions when it comes to 343. Even though adding new gametypes seems like the obvious move to make, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if 343 put their focus on something else that very few players care about.

That is why people feel the need to be continuously vocal about what they want from the game.

I couldn’t have said it any better… But I’ll try

It seems that 343 will probably add some new reqs, maybe even add more colors… But will not work on anything else. Soooo many things can get added. Infection being one of them, Grifball, a new type of Firefight would be so great. They should add something for players that want to play online, but not have to reply solely on other players.

You’d think that it wouldn’t be any harder than sending someone on the design team an email then putting out a twitter post to confirm it.

I would understand 343 being almost silent if they didn’t want to take community feedback on board but they have said from the start that this time, they are listening. We just want a response guys, just a little heads up.

Last time I looked, I couldn’t find anything conclusive about Infection and that’s why the forums are flooded.

Some people take it overboard but that’s just how some people roll.

What’s worse is even if next month or the month after they bring Infection and maybe another gametype, the community will STILL find something else to flood the forums with.

I agree that it is hardly obvious infection will be added. It might be added. It should be added. Will it be added? No one but 343i knows and they haven’t said a word.

you say that as if there isn’t a bunch of stuff that is STILL lacking in this game

I know, how DARE people who play the game have problems that persist even when one problem out of many is resolved. That is just a shocking development I tell you what, absolutely mind-boggling. It isn’t like 343 could have just included these gametypes in the base game rather than shoe-horn them in as “free DLC” and “updates”.

People have every right to come to the forums with requests of all types. If you are finding this annoying, perhaps you are spending too much time on here reading these requests. The moderation team would be more than happy to arrange a “vacation” for you to help you relax a bit. You seem tense.

Kidding aside, if something is annoying you, don’t actively seek it out. Just ignore it and move on. There are thousands upon thousands of threads in a multitude of different forums. It’s not as inescapable as you think. On the plus side, at least you aren’t required to read it. Every. Day.
