When yourself and three other randoms are getting trashed on by the enemy team, in the first few minutes of an arena match. Then however, something happens that causes you and your team to all get your bloody -Yoink- together, start mercilessly wailing on the opposing team, and wind up winning the match by a decent amount.
I absolutely love whenever that happens :). Anyone have similar stories such as this?
AHMEN! I have had a fair share of those experiences and that’s partly why I posted on quitting on purpose and encouraging more people to not be so quick to leave when the game fails out of their teams favour. Things can turn so quickly. I have also experienced what appeared to be a total blowout for us go to the other team in the end—that hurts!
Sometimes as randoms, it just takes a couple of minutes for people to see how others are playing (your team and opposing) to gel into a working unit with a working strategy.
Ah, the come back. The glorious turn around…yes, I know that feeling well.
It REALLY sucks to be on the other side of it though.
Was losing Grifball 4-1. But the when we next got possession, we somehow managed to score three times in a row. Now tied, the enemy had the ball again and the carrier was literally inches from the goal when we killed him, took possession of the ball, and scored for the win.
Definitely. Playing with randoms is high risk, but high reward.

Best feeling IMO is when you team is loosing by a couple points and one of your teammates quits only for you’re team to come back and win by 1 point:)
It’s one of the greatest feelings in Halo online. Quitters wouldn’t know.
And the worst feeling is when the same thing happens, except it’s your team that starts off strong then gets plowed into the wall. It’s especially bad when you’re on a losing streak and you think this match will be the one to break it.
Comebacks are my favorite games by far. I love being in breakout, losing 4 in a row, then winning the next 5 for the victory. Then getting to hear what the opposing team is yelling at eachother in the post game.
Can confirm<3 had a close game and my two DMR kills saved us when the enemy had two rockets loaded!!
Losing a breakout match 4-0 then somehow winning 5 times in a row.

It’s like…magic…

Both teams were tied at 93 towards the end I beat down one guy and look behind me as my teammate assassinates another I shoot one guy until his shields are down, where my friend finishes him off. Our two teammates one the other half of the map get a kill, then as I make a run for the over shield a guy challenges me! But I kill him too! I grab the overshield then get a beat down and we win!
There have been a few games of breakout that we lost several rounds at the start forcing us to win all the remaining rounds

I had this happen too, except I came into the game on the losing team. I crushed the other team, allowing team to score 3 in a row. I was like 53 and 15 or something crazy. Plot twist though, I got betrayal booted…during a triple kill. Oddly satisfying to see that the other team ended up winning.
I was losing a game I think 48 to 42 on coliseum. Somehow we banded together and got the remaining 8 kills with dying only once. It took at about 40 seconds. My old name use to be implicit88b
Part 1
Part 2
For me the best feeling is carrying the team when I’m usually not or getting really cool consecutive sniper kills
I thought it was sitting down on the thumbstick, turning vibrations all the way up and then firing your ONI hog?
