I think we can all agree that playing Infinite on PC feels horrible

There are numerous reasons aiming with mouse feels awful in Halo Infinite, but performance, stuttering, and fullscreen issues are only the tip of the ice berg. Player movement in Halo Infinite is so erratic that it is literally impossible to accurately track with a mouse. It’s literally harder than in Quake; movement acceleration is near instantaneous and any half-decent player can out strafe even a top 10% mouse aimer because of it. This wouldn’t be a problem necessarily, however, but this is exactly where controller aim assist comes into play. When somebody is smashing “adadad” controller aim assist handles that aspect of aiming completely without any player input required. Add to that a smidgen of bullet magnetism and controllers are simply superior for aim overall. The guns, the movement, and the rest of the game mechanics were built for aim asissted controller first and then they enabled mouse input and called it a day. I sincerely recommend using analog input for aiming as mouse will literally never feel good in multiplayer. You will never get a perfect with the BR on mouse whereas literally half your BR kills with a controller will be perfect lol.
