Yep! Agreed.
Hawk, Grizzly, Wolverine are roo unbalanced for 5 to work with… (though the Grizzly should have been the step-up, not this mini-tank…)
-Hawk is too effective against enemy air, pretty effective against vehicles
-wolverine’s role is already taken by rocket hog
-grizzly was axed for new scorpion
(I wish they traded for the picks you guys have, but balancing is a genuine concern here.)

You can balance anything to work its all just values, yes it would be slightly out of character with the lore but who cares its a game it shouldn’t have to have everything 100% lore based.
The probmel with some of the vehicles for Halo Wars is that most of the vehicles exist as upgrades of other vehicles, and so would make gameplay unbalanced unless you nerfed them.
If you’re gonna put the Hawk in, but dumb it down to the state of a Hornet, why not just put the Hornet in?
Juving us the Hornet would be more fan service than the Hawk as a fair precentage of the population in Halo 5 won’t even know what a Hawk is.

Plus, except for the fact that there are no direct weapons the pilot can use, the Falcon has much better agility and speed…slap a couple guns and rockets on that platform, or make it replace the TT Hog and you are set.
