It’s perfectly symmetrical, and has good power weapon placement. Clamber in halo 5 would make easy access on top of rocks, and a fight to dominate sightlines down on the enemy base. The warthog allows manuever behind the bases to kill the enemies or make quick access for objective gametypes (capture the flag, arm the bomb in assault). There’s a focus for people with snipers to control the middle area near the turrets and the beach. The crashed longsword also gives good sightlines down the right side of the blue base. Basically an overall good map for both slayer and objective gametypes.
One adjustment I think I would make would be removing rockets from both bases and only putting one rocket in the middle, but other than that, I think its a good map. It really played well for objective gametypes at least in reach.
I liked that map hopefully it is remade at some point if not when reach is backwards I can just download it and play BTB on matchmaking and with it backwards compatiable when it comes in November maybe the population will go up

> Tempest was a gem, it truly was. I didn’t really care for most of the map pack, (Noble pack right?), but that map had something special.
really was it was very fun to play on reach had some great moments
i think with a few tweaks and some new paint sword base could make an interesting map for H5. tempest was fun and i agree that a spire reimagining for warzone would be cool

> IMO if they remake any Halo Reach maps, it should be Spire (For BTB and Warzone) and Powerhouse. I loved Powerhouse.
I disagree with both of those, spire is too big. One would think there would be a focus to control the big tower, but unless you have a sniper, you can only shoot people near the small covenant base below you. And if you spawn by the river, it takes a while to get back in the action near the spire, the area near the river is mostly unused, like in boneyard, no one goes on the other half of the map where elites spawn in invasion.
Powerhouse suffers from being too open and big without much cover.
Condemned was a good map, and it would be great with clamber too. Reach’s DLC died a premature death at the hands of bungie, hopefully with a backwards compatible release for Reach, a DLC playlist might make a comeback.

highlands was awesome. The weapons respawned way to fast on that map tough.

And wont be an issue anymore since free dlc. An hor 9, temptest and the other dlc maps for reach were gems if you ask me. Honestly I want to see Skyline return.
