I’m probably one of the worst snipers playing Halo, and ive been pulling off some crazy MLG crap in team snipers. It literally feels like my bullets are curving onto peoples heads lol
I still trace my bullets around them. I don’t see any form of curving that’s too severe.

It’s more fun to use than the Halo 3 Sniper (I can’t remember Reach and H4). It just needs to fix the bullet magnetism; currently it has the same magnetism traits while unscoped and scoped, therefore making it seem crazy off. Also, it needs to be more hitscan and bring back more twitch sniping like Halo 2. Then, just bring hitbox below chin up to chin level, and will probably feel more like you control your success.

I’ve noticed this too. Not sure if it’s luck or aim assist.

There has been alot of evidence of ridiculous amounts of bullet magnetism with snipers lol. People have legit had their reticle a few meters away from the player and they still get a headshot although I myself haven’t seemed to see this myself in game yet.
I want to play Team Snipers on the BTB maps what’s 343 thinking
Sniping is great fun. One way to get better can be to set up a forge map with nothing on it and just go at it with snapshots.
It is quite easy to use. Maybe I’m just a Halo 2 sniper at heart, and maybe I’m not as competitive-minded as I think (Halo 5 does that to you) but admittedly I prefer the Sniper Rifle to be this effective when picked up. I’d imagine if sniping took as long as it did in Halo 3 you would just die before using it.

Cuz i dont want to “feel” that way lol if i pull a crazy shot i wanna know that it was because my aim was on point and instead of 343 compensating for my suckage.

So yes, it is far too easy. Way too much bullet magnetism in this game.

Yeah H2 had my favorite sniper. It was much harder to use, but that made the kills feel more rewarding.

This lol i got a headshot from shooting a guy in the center of his back today. I was ashamed.
