No joke! For all of you Halo 3 players out there, you should remember the secret of sandtrap and how people tried so hard to find it. Well I think I found it, and now all I need is help.
In one interview that was posted on the front page a loong time ago, (someone link to it please?) the guy said that the symbols on the walls of Sandtrap actually mean something. All we need to know is how to translate them. Well, I found it I am almost positive.
In Halo 3, the terminals display a message. Well if you look close, some of the letters VERY VERY QUICKLY turn into a symbol, and then back into the letter it was originally. Well I think this is how we translate it.
The symbol coresponds to the letter. For example, if the word “Hello” appears in the terminal, lets say the letter “o” flashes into a symbol and then back to the letter “o”. Well that symbol would mean “o”. Understand?
We need to slow down the terminal videos so we can see the symbols carefully. Then we need someone to go into sandtrap and view the symbols, and translate.
It will be hard work, but it will be worth it!!! AT LAST WE CAN FIND THE SECRET.
Really? That can be said for basically any kind of music, video, TV show, etc. It’s like saying that the Pokémon theme song backwards contains Satanic messages. Try and watch any TV show backwards, you will probably hear some messages, too.

I was actually ignoring the whole subliminal message thing and was thinking about the Terminal symbols.
If I had a capture card I would so help you with this. I understand that videos on youtube are the best for slowing things down to and analyzing something like this. Good luck!

It is not possible to closely examine the symbols because they flash so damn fast. You need to record and play back in slo-mo to see.
EDIT: Ok, if someone can upload a video of ALL THE TERMINALS (not just locations, must go through whole thing) in 1080p, I can probably do the work. Please? Anyone???

Well, great, here I am on this fine Thursday afternoon having forgotten all about the Secret Of Sandtrap, and now you’ve gone and reminded me! Just gave a big 10-4 to productivity for today, lol! I’ll be checking out youtube vids and will let you know if I find anything.
