It’s just crazy to me that every halo I’ve played, I’ve averaged a 2.0 or more KD overall then came halo 5 and I’m averaging barely a 1.2 KD. Im constantly loosing games which i dont mind cause lets be real you can’t win them all but I’m loosing like 8-9 sometimes 10 games in a row. Im constantly getting spawn killed 95% of the time. It feels like the game is designed to purposely spawn you unto of each other. The other 5% im getting killed by noob weapons bolt shot (don’t even have to have good aim to kill somebody), scattershot has way to much range and all kinds of other randomness because the maps are sooo small. I also feel like people quit out more on halo 5 because of it in my opinion and I’m frequently left with a 2 or 3 man team. I’m not trying to stir the pot or “complain” as yall say but I think Halo 5 is my last Halo purchase. Unless love the franchise but halo evolved into a FPS I can’t get into anymore

Play more Warzone. The gameplay is basically designed to play better that way.

This is the first halo I’ve not liked, so I highly doubt I’ll be buying another one. Plus I’ve never bought a deluxe edition halo either. If 343 is going to continue make halo games I won’t be buying them

I want a challenge when I play but it has to be fair. Spawn me with myour team or away from combat
The spawning is a little weird in Halo 5. However, I think you aren’t doing as well in Halo 5 is because Arena forces players to try very very hard, so it is harder to win. Plus, Arena matches you up with players your skill or more, so it is harder to win matches.

A: You are not good at the game
B: The game has a low skill- gap
C: Lag

Yep the spawns are the worst in Halo 5…lost track of how many time I’ve been spawn killed by either enemy or being dropped into area’s that I can’t avoid being killed by stupid boundaries on spawn like this.

Dude, you are an onyx level player. You will be matched against the best most of the time. This game is not going to match you against noobs unless there are no players. If you don’t want to be matched that high then don’t do well in your placement matches. You are doing better than you think.
You have won over 100 more matches than you’ve lost. That’s what’s important. K/D be -Yoink!-. What matters is winning.
Do you care about my K/D? No. Do I care about your’s? No. Your win/loss ratio tells me that, when necessary, you run flags, take strongholds, capture bases, play objectives. Not just pad your K/D. K/D is pointless (aside from Slayer, of course, but that only matters match-per-match, not overall since it’s lumped with objective modes). You’re not rewarded for K/D. What you are rewarded for is winning (REQ points, XP, commendations, achievements, and so forth).
So if you have an impressive W/L and a positive K/D (and you certainly do), then you’re just fine. Especially if your Win/Loss spread is by over 100 matches. You’re a valuable teammate.

dont lose hope. At least watch the trailer or something for Halo 6 before you give up on the series. You said this is the only Halo that you dont like. So dont just abandon ship now. Give Halo a fair chance.

noob weapons? if you have a DMR/carbine/BR and someone kills you with a bolt shot tell me something, who’s the noob?. The only extreme difference of this game is the weapon balance, now all the weapons are lethal, you just need to have the skill to choose the right one in the right situation. Spawn killed? get a team learn the spawns and start doing the spawn kills yourself.
