It also…
Adopted a dedicated Sprint button.
And Grenade Indicators.
And hitmarkers.
And Personal Ordnance.
And Loadouts.
Added more weapon clones, mostly OHKO and precision weapons.
And QTE’s.
Made multiplayer canon (can be good or bad depending on how you like your multiplayer)
Butchered most gametypes, Infection especially.
Second-worst MM maps in the series, Reach taking first.
Zero Covenant maps.
QTE’s broke Campaign Theater, made it impossible to view.
Made the final boss a QTE.
Entire campaign story was dependent on external media, wasn’t self-contained.
Shortest campaign in the series (only 8 missions, CE had 10, 2 had 13, and 3 had 9)
Worst armor design in the series, reminiscent of Power Rangers and Neon Genesis Evangelion. (though this is a very subjective viewpoint)
Annoying dynamic lighting feature, has it’s cons and pros.
Zero humor in campaign.
Almost zero easter eggs except for the Conan one and the hidden weapon caches.
Tone of the campaign was out of character for a mainline Halo game, went for realistic rather than Shakespearean like 2 and 3.
Butchered Firefight, replaced with SpOps, which has zero replayability and has legions of co-op bugs.
And more.
