I love H5 and I’m really happy with this game thus far, does it need some tweeks? Yes, but for the most part I like it a lot. I remember way back when H3 was announced I was hopeing it was going to expand upon H2…it did not all we got was a copy/paste H2 with added clunky(ness), then came Reach…I was so upset with the direction of Halo…H4 comes out, and while I dislike A LOT of the stuff in the MM, I loved the story something I could not say about Halo since 2.
H5 is what I wanted H3 to be, I really enjoy it and I’m happy you all (343i) are listening, Let this be your “Halo 2”.
Also I want to add, If your opinion is different that is fine, we all have diff stand-points.

Oh very wrong. The silent majority spoke very loudly by leaving H4’s online matchmaking a ghost town 3 months after release and they will do it again in H5.

No one is sucking up here. On the H4 thing, Ranks killed H4 the most…3 months in H4 average population hit max rank, as sad as it is A LOT play until max rank and then leave. CoD games have pop drops when most hit max. H4 however had bad customs and forge and had AAs and custom load-outs so it did not retain like H2 does.

I’m starting to find that it’s actually “vocal aware minority vs. silent and ignorant majority”. Then again, who really is the minority or majority this time around? Every poll that I’ve seen lately ended in a near 50/50 split over whether they would be buying Halo 5 or not (and yes, the sample size is obviously small, but it’s following patterns - or at least that’s what I feel).
And no, I don’t like Halo 5, but that doesn’t mean that I’m unwilling to provide constructive criticism in hopes to make it play better. If sprint is to stay, I’ll try my best to explain how it can be best balanced. Personally I won’t play the final/official retail release of Halo 5 because it still has sprint (and several other features that I consider gimmicks), but that’s just me.
I’ve loved Halo 5 by the majority, and I’ve enjoyed nearly every moment of the beta. The promise is high for potentially the best Halo MP there has ever been in my view.
