I think I'm going to hell for this. I Played a Game of Slayer with a GameCube Controller

So today I found an officially licensed PDP GameCube controller for the Switch. And I fully intend to play games with it on my Switch. But the first thing I did was plug it into my PC and load up Halo. I saw that you could play Infinite with the Switch Pro Controller. It worked. Now the biggest draw back is the position of X & Y. Also how different the C stick is to a regular analog stick. It feels loose compared to the Xbox Series X controller. Admittedly I was playing against bots because I just wanted to see if it would work. But it does. I think I need to get a Power A controller though because the PDP GameCube controller is huge.

I respect it. Imagine seeing a Rayleigh pro on one :joy:

There is a special place in hell reserved for people like you :joy:

But seriously, that sounds awful, the GameCube controller was weird, I can’t see it working with Halo, not for PVP anyway.

Now I challenge you to run through the Campaign on LASO using an N64 controller. Or at least complete a Slayer match. Running LASO may be too much, lol.

The PDP GameCube Controller for the Switch is not a normal GameCube controller, it’s slightly bigger and has L. R, ZL & ZR. The C Stick is also like a nornal analog stick with a C Stick nub… ZL & ZR are not like the GameCube Controller. It’s more like PS3 R2 & L2 buttons. I think it would just take a little time getting used to the controller. That C-Stick could give someone an advantage because it feels like you could have finer aiming control than a PS5 or Xbox Controller.

It’s meant for Smash on the Switch but you can pretty much play any game with it.

I thought I heard some one yelling Falcon Punch!
