I Think I Know Where This Game Will Be....

Reach. Look at the end of Halo Reach and then the Halo Xbox One trailer. There are some similarities.

By the End of Halo 4, hasn’t the UNSC “Fixed” Reach?

i.e, recolonize it, and reverse any non-permanent damage from the covenant attack?

I wasn’t aware that Reach was an endless desert which contained flying Forerunner birds…It just doesn’t seem right. Logically, one would assume that it takes place on the Ark. Hence, all of the sand.

At the end of Halo Reach it IS an endless desert because the Covenant burnt it to ash.

Desert?

You mean an endless wasteland of slag and glass?

I just don’t think this produces this.

That pic from the teaser sure does remind me of this though, especially when you consider that that the reddish moon you can vaguely see is rather similar to this.

Anyway, I’m thinking Installation 00. The resemblance is much more obvious, and such a revisit has been hinted at.

And what are you’re similarities besides, essentially, the presence of sand? Besides, when did Reach suddenly get a giant red moon or planteoid?

Which of the two Arks did we visit in Halo 3?

The Lesser. The Greater Ark was destroyed in Silentium.

Well…I don’t really think Reach is “new” and they said this location was a new one so I’m guessing no.

Yeah…no. Sorry, but i’m not convinced. Reach looked more like a wasteland, not a desert with mechanical forerunner birds.

The concept art (here) looks kinda like Harvest, but I’m pretty sure it’s going to be an unheard of planet that has been recently colonized by the humans and covenant together because you can see both of their ships docked there

Haven’t been able to get my hands on that book yet. Good to know though.

It looks more like The Ark (Installation 00) to me.

I would say that it is Earth for the first act until he busts out of UNSC with Halsey data, guided by a voice that he does not know to be Cortana yet…

Ah how the mind wonders…

And what exactly do you base this assumption under? Why Cortana specifically? I would say its more likely to be the Iso Didact, not Cortana (unless you are referring to haluccinations?).

i see where your going with this but it wouldnt fit with the story, i think it COULD be on reach but ater the events of halo 4 cos of the forerunners, they could have been there for a long time but honestly i dont think it would be after reach

You’re suggesting someone buried a giant bird in the Planet Reach before it got glassed? I want some of what you’re smoking.
