I looked up Halo 4 on amazon and it said that Halo 4 would be released on December 31. This Cannot be wrong because the Halo reach launch date is correct. So is the Halo 3 launch date.

This is just the Estimated Release or Place holder Release date, hovis.

Im serious bro check it out on amazon.com and type in halo 4. right next to it says December 31 2012.

Its a place holder. Meaning it comes some time out Q4 2012. Oh and seriously why would you believe December 31st? That has to be the most horrible and unrealistic date to release a product.

Seeing how halo 2, 3, and Reach have all been released, its only right that Amazon gets their released dates right. Honestly.

Oh, and December 31st is a Monday. And all games are usually released on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Dude, rule of thumb is that until an official release date has been released by the Game Developer/publisher most game retail stores/sites give a random date that they think is close.
Basing your thoughts off of Halo Reach’s release date and Halo 3’s release date on Amazon’s site is wrong, because Halo Reach and Halo 3 are both released, Bungie told every one when the game was to be released, and the game was released on that day, so the date Amazon has is correct for those games. But Halo 4’s “release date” is wrong, that is just a place holder date until 343i says when Halo 4 is released.
Unless 343i changes the date on their Halo 4 page to that date, it’s WRONG.
