I think I have outgrown Halo

Less than 24 hours of play time and less than a weak since release and I am done with Halo 5 at least until Thanksgiving and/or Forge. either I have outgrown this or Halo 5 is not as fun as Halo 4 (more than 8 days play time) and Halo Reach (more than 13days play time). I don’t even have a measurement for Halo CE and Halo 2 both played offline, I know I did not play much Halo 3 and ODST only a few time through the campaign but still more than 24 hours and I still want to revisit those and they keep me engaged. Not counting the MCC since I am not done with it.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Me.

But fortunately, I have COD BO3 and Star wars BF coming out soon.

This game is, at its core, the same as all shooters have always been, and it would be worrisome if at some point you didn’t start to feel like you’d already “been there and done that.” If you don’t find anything to keep you coming back… that’s just the way it goes. There’s nothing wrong with the game, and there’s nothing wrong with you. It’s just time for you to do something different. Have a career, have a family, cure cancer. Halo will always be here if you ever want to come back.

I think what you’re saying is normal. Halo is a love hate thing for some like myself. I’ve sold and bought back a couple of these games for various reasons over the years. Ebb and flow of a competitive game I think.

I’m probably the same. Ive played Halo ce, 2, wars, mainly campaign on 3 barely multiplayer, 4, reach (my favorite), and odst.

I don’t have 5. I just find myself slipping away from it. I just want halo to kind of die off in general. I like 343 and I’d wish they stop making halos and would start a new ip and universe so I could say goodbye to halo.

I wouldn’t want franchises to die just because others moved on. (My son wouldn’t know Thomas the Train if that happened.) These stories are there for fans. The idea is that things get milked when we’re over it, our bias.

I’m assuming you’re getting paid to say such things, right?

I think Halo has outgrown the diehard fans actually.

I have not stuck for Halo 5 as other Halo games. even if it is a good game, it is so totally different from what Halo was for me from the beginning. I will continue to play 5 as long as it’s fun, but I have trouble seeing myself devote as much time as the previous halos.

I am just getting started on halo 5, but I don’t think I will be staying to long if things stay the same. I haven’t played an FPS since halo 4 2 years ago for multiplayer lol, I missed it a bit, but this is just stupid. I played about 3000 halo 3 games over the course of about 2 years, those were the good times to me anyway (I know, I know, opinion, blah blah blah).

I’m having a hard time having fun when in halo 5 I can’t even know when the guy is running up red base ramp on orion and I am standing on the corner having a dmr battle with blue base. Also, back to back nights of lag for me (30 dl, 5 ul). Aiming doesn’t bother me as much as others. Content and playlist updates will happen eventually, will try it out later.
