I think I found something in this picture.
Awesome big pic courtesy of Nihilus Shadow: http://fs.gamespress.com/protected/microsoftusfull/artwork/2012/06/na-1-20120601182312/c9d50d363b8452c5/e32012_halo4_spartanops8.jpg
There are two Watchers in the air. One is behind the Knight, but the other is in front of the Knight shooting it with a beam.
Can Knights spawn multiple Watchers? I think that beam is either to heal the Knight, or two cause damage. I don’t think its to heal the Knight because it looks like the beam is hitting the hard light shield and causing sparks. Could Watchers be the armor ability that replaces the Halo 3 Automated Turret(Automated Turret | Halo Alpha | Fandom)?
Thoughts??

It looks like its propping his shield up. Interesting!
The beam is projecting the shield in front of the Knight. Watch the B-roll of Spartan Ops footage from E3, and you should see it.
I doubt a single knight can spawn more than 1 Watcher, but who knows?

Can the Watcher also sustain the shield for a longer duration then what Spartans can have? I think that would make it a bit more fun to deal with.
As far as two watchers (which would suck) I don’t know but the one watcher is defiantly making that shield be put in front of the knight to protect him. It generates that shield to protect the knight.

Dunno. It’s unclear from the footage I’ve seen.

Toa’s right. there’s just no way to honestly know. At this point, logic dictates that since a Watcher is generating the shield, there’s just no way to tell which one has a longer charge, but one thing I can say is if a Knight can spawn another watcher, your looking at multiple issues not just defensive and offensive related, remember watchers act as a triangle projectors:
- Heal
- Shield
- Spawn
When you see two or three watchers on the field, I’d be wary of them more then the knights. They can be the equivalent of warlords in MMO’s on the battlefield because of those traits and if two is present, I’d advise taking one out immediately.

I wonder what will happen if a Knight is destroyed, but its Watcher is still alive. Wouldn’t it have to go to another Knight? So, with what we currently have, theoretically, one Knight can have as many Watchers as there are Knights that are in the area.

It might try to spawn some crawlers and resurrect the knight.

Crawlers can resurrect the Knights?

Crawlers are the very ground your standing on. Knights at A.I.'s, how do you revive a computer? Give it power. Watchers with that heal ability will be supplying said power. therefore, its a definite possibility knights could be revived because of a watcher…
Better Image.
Don’t the Knights disintegrate after dying? Kind of hard to resurrect something that is no longer there. The Watchers can spawn new Crawlers so maybe they just call in a new Knight to assist?

You sound like your quoting something. What do you mean by that Crawler comment?

God, yes! Thank you.
