SO I was browsing some Cairo gameplay when I notice one of the computers had a Forerunner glyph. If you look at the group of computers on the left of the Cairo pic, at the top left computer. You will see a yellow symbol.
When moving Forerunner glyph to same position, they are almost exact. Plus they have red text and symbols on the computer just like the Pillar of Autumn terminal had but more subtler.
Thoughts?
That symbol is the “Eld” … it represents the Mantle (and if you look closely, you’ll notice that the parts of the Janis Key fit perfectly with the elongated center piece).
The Eld can be found in Combat Evolved (HERE, not in Anniversary, as you can see by the picture) so by Halo 2, I’m sure the UNSC would know of it, if that is in fact what is on that computer (I can’t really make it out myself.) But I guess we’ll find out come November if it’s a terminal or not.
Hard to say…guess we’l’l have to find out when it’s released!
