So I was messing around in Forge (console) yesterday and decided to put Nornfang ammunition into a Scale of Soirapt Plasma Rifle using the weapon glitch, and for some reason the rifle turned blueish purple with a scarred/damaged texture. It only happens when putting Mythic UNSC weapons (Nornfang, Oathsworn, SPNKr Prime, Whispered Truth) over the Soirapt, as the Bane and Gavel don’t work. Part of a future update maybe?

Hmm. A lot of that is a misaligned texture, so one could guess that it’s the engine being uh. Confused, as to what it should put on there given the circumstances.
Yet at the same time, it’s an extremely odd thing to see happen. Yeah, you might be onto something here. This could indeed be an unseen/unknown weapon for the time being. I’d say, keep this in mind for the next year around February. We’ve got a looooooooooot of Halo content coming out come Halo Wars 2.
I did hear that there was a Mythic Plasma Rifle in the games files… so I guess this is it. Pretty nifty if you ask me.
