Just look at all failures recent, games like Cyberpunk, Battlefield 2042, GTA trilogy,. Halo I is in the same category.
Theese games are beyond repair I would say, no fixes in the world can save theese games.
If you loose players then your game is Doomed.
Going from 500.000 to 5000 in a couple of weeks says it all, your game is trash, its game over.
They all have one thing in common, horrible leadership and development, prominsing so much more than they deliver.
I dont see how 343 can bring people back, Season 2 seems like a big failure with only 1 arena map and its Epitath, Epitath, are you guys kidding me ???
The worst Halo 3 map is coming to Halo infinite, I think they made Epitath just to upset players even more.
Halo Infininte is just as doomed as Battlefield 2042, going from 500k to 5k players.
Microsoft must be really worried when they dont even make money from their biggest tiitle.
And beeing F2P means no more money for either 343 or Microsoft.
I think beeing F2P was actually the biggest misstake.
Imagine if the game sold 10 million copies, it would have been huge success and there would probably be a lot of content out already.
I have accepted that this game is a failure and that it may never be fixed to its full potencial. Dropping players also means worse experience for thoose who are still playing the game.
Halo Infinite peaked just like any other new game that comes out. We live in a world were there’re new games coming out weekly. People have the right to pick and choose what they want to play to find joy. The ranked scene of HCS hasn’t been this strong in years. Have faith and understand that the game needs repairs and those repairs hopefully come sooner rather than later.

Construct? Epitaph is far from the worst in halo 3.
Whoa hold your horses. Last gen and this gen is absolute garbage. “New” games do not come out weekly unless your talking indies. AAA or movie tie-ins which are not a thing anymore; coming out weekly was a 360/ps3 era thing. Those days rocked. Both of these gens have been doodoo with only (for me) a handful of good games, but all years apart.
Yessireebob! Ur my new friend. 360/ps3 was the last great era. Everything since then is a crapshoot. Some great games here and there but the raito is WAAAAAYY off. Its ALL about money/investors. AAA quality is becoming almost impossible as its being expected ALL the time. Money cant drive creativity. We need to dial back and go outside…or read…lol.
Ranked play is awful, MMR is so flawed. How do I have a higher MMR of like 1544 when I have a D6 D4 D1 and D5 against Onyx 1550, Onyx 1650, D6 and D4 who has MMR of like 1523? What planet is this? A 10 yr old can call this match up. I’m tired of losing 10 games in a row. Just put me in Platinum 1 and make it so I never rank up so I can actually enjoy the game and get fair matches. Stop teasing me with Onyx when its impossible. I can’t even spawn in I get instant killed or get double/triple teamed almost every single life.
The part that is tough is that this game is a F2P and so just that tells me that I’ve got to sit on my hands. Now if you’re upset with Campaign go wild. I still do not know why I paid for the Campaign.
