I think Blue Team will be in Halo Infinite.

If Blue Team was not meant to be in Halo Infinite, 343 would have separate them from Chief during Shadows of Reach, that was the perfect opportunity, they could have them stranded on the planet like other UNSC forces or they could have follow the Ferrets through the portal for the Ark, instead 343 opted to have them stay with Chief on the Infinity, less than 2 months before the battle with the Banished at Zeta Halo.
We also have the 3D models on the cover of Shadows of Reach, I don’t think that 343 would have made them just for a book. Plus we have Fred toy model for Halo Infinite using a VK78 Commando.
343 knew very well how much fans care for Blue Team and yet they mees them up in Halo 5. I think 343 should take responsibility and do them right in Halo Infinite as an apology to fans.
The open-world nature of Halo Infinite and the side-missions are perfect for Blue Team to shine. Maybe you can choose which member take with you in side-missions one at the time.
I also hope the game will put at good use each member particular ability like Fred close-quarters combat skills, Kelly speed and Linda sniper-skills.

I hope you are right. I think it was an odd choice to make coop a dupe 117 when we have blue team but perhaps they die in the prologue so people who don’t read the books know why these Spartans that sort of just appeared in 5 are now gone. Or they are on the ring and as the game progresses we can rebuild blue team and find out what they have been doing since “we lost”

This would be so cool! We see marines being held prisoner at a Banished stronghold during the most recent campaign teaser, so maybe Blue Team’s members are in captivity across the ring as well. It could make for interesting missions to rescue them one by one and get the gang back together. :eyes:

I hope so too!

Assuming you’re correct, the next question would be their whereabouts right? I don’t think it would make a ton of sense for them to all be together and yet not be with Chief, so perhaps we’ll spend part of Infinite tracking down each of their whereabouts.

I actually hope they’re not in the campaign because I like them so much. I’d much rather we get a DLC that focuses on them down the line so they can get their own character development without sitting in the shadow of Chief and his story.

The UNSC forces are scaterred through Zeta Halo, so that’s probably include Blue Team as well. When the Infinity was destroyed (presumably) they made it to the ring surface unlike Chief that was stranded in space. They probably did think he was dead for months.

I hope so, I would like to see blue team utilized more.

I agree that they should get their own DLC post main-campaign. However I also think that is very important for them to be in the main campaign as well because their relationship with Chief need to be done right since Halo 5 did it very poorly.

I really hope they are in the game and you can have them with you the whole time once you find them.

Well, considering THIS exists, I’d say chances are pretty good.
