I take it BS Angel is our representative...

from 343 or at least the closest we are going to get to 343 when we have issues and concerns. I really do miss the 10 or more people that would post on behalf of Bungie when the community had questions directly associated to the inner working of the company.

it’s like they went through all this trouble to create and maintain the online stats and a centralized community… and then nothing :\

Weird!

I read that a lot of 343 members were on vacation after halo 4 released, because they were working non stop on it, so maybe things will go back to how they were before.

Most of 343 is hard at work, solving problems and fixing bugs. If you want updates, keep an eye on the Halo Bulletin.

What do you mean the closest? She is part of 343, so speaking with her is speaking with 343.

…or me, too.

We just need more, or a new representative, the community at large is pissed off and im not going to feed off the tid bits of info they give us, i have too much dignity.

Give us atleast 1 daily update or post about something, make a sticky post titled “The BS Angel Daily” or something.

Lack of communication, lack of it

Well maybe instead of banning people, I could bite them? How about that big Twinkie? Hehe.

I hope 343i is treating you well!

If people want answer, they should be more civilized and friendly I think.

Otherwise, they might just get Noted and issues worked on with less communication.

And it’s not like they didn’t keep an eye on the forums, some like Vic DeLeon lurk on the forums.

> Most of 343 is hard at work, solving problems and fixing bugs. If you want updates, keep an eye on the Halo Bulletin.

Don’t forget the following open forums to centralise most concerns:
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst155922_The-Official-Specializations-Email-Thread.aspx
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst130475_Issues-being-investigated.aspx
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst137400_TELL-343---Halo-4-Playlist-Preferences.aspx
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst120256_Everything-you-need-to-know-about-Halo-4.aspx
https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst17376_ASK-A-QUESTION-FOR-THE-HALO-BULLETIN.aspx

And a good attitude goes a long way towards being noticed. You’d be surprised how easy it is to ignore the loud and annouying sounds when the information you want comes from more organised and often quieter sources.

Lock and warned/banned… Just a matter of time…

The bulletin doesn’t address European ppl other than to class them as ineligible if they didn’t buy the LE or buy store specific pre-order.

I’d like to hear what kind of regular edition pre-order exclusivity contract lasts for months in one region but weeks for the LE in other regions.

If the deal was they got exclusive access for months then the players have lost that exclusivity, now that all the codes have been sent out worldwide. So how can they keep localised exclusivity which is meaningless? Nobody has an advantage, except over the Europeans who didn’t pre-order at the right place.

You offered various pre-order incentives at different stores, but this one affecting gameplay for months wasn’t of an equal balance it appears now.

It is not a fair opportunity to offer one region a store specific pre-order from a shop that almost went bankrupt earlier in the year and couldn’t fulfill any Mass Effect 3 pre-orders, then compare that to a free-for all where you didn’t even need to buy Halo 4 at all, you could just sign in for 5 minutes on a friend’s xbox.

This is what upsets Europeans and is not being addressed at all by BS Angel or others. Just saying we had a pre-order chance and others had a post-launch chance is insulting.

If anyone has any ability to pass this on to 343 it would be appreciated.

I feel you, but from what I’ve seen since launch, 343’s bulletins have been more than half full of game unrelated stuff like trucks, and the other half that is about that game doesnt address anything that the forums have brought up. Somewhat frustrating as you might imagine.

I just want to know if 343 is aware that some people (me included) still don’t have our specialization codes even though we meet all the requirements. I know some people might be lying, but even if half of them are telling the truth than there is still an issue. Also I hope they don’t think the complainers speak for the majority, I personally love ordinance, and loadouts.

Yup, thats why i post on The Halo Council. Mods there are veteran halo fans and post regularly and don’t get ban people unless they truly are hurting the community, yet there are more happy and civil but serious conversations there as well as great halo 4 updates that are a few hours earlier than waypoint.

Recently, about seven forum members got the bump up to Moderation.

Being a moderator is overrated, now medals, medals are where its at!

As for how many monitors were promoted, feel free to check out my Forum Members link (or click here). I believe 7 of us were originally added as Superintendents, then 6 of us were updated to moderators recently.

To address the OP, there are always threads you can go to that 343i will see and respond to. I can promise you that bs angel checks these forums and helps with their maintenance and issues.
