In West Europe there aren’t players in the morning. You have to do something for incrase the number of Users; To Attract People with Rewards ecc… You have to copy League of Legends, Brawl Stars, Fortnite.
At the current status This game will die soon
I stopped playing because despite PC player’s population drop in Halo Infinite, I still encounter a M&K player every match it seems.
Might as well be playing against someone using cheats because console players cannot suddenly spin to face a random direction since we are limited to camera X/Y axis speeds of 1-10.
I play on PC and I use the Xbox One Controller,For me there is’t a big disadvantage between the two devices but also I would prefer to play only against those who use the Controller.
The amount of times I have been sniped by someone with the sniper rifle and then watched them continue to have immense accuracy despite them twisting around like a fidget spinner is just a little less annoying than the fact that in a game where being back-slapped is an insta-kill; I have had it taken away from me because someone is able to pull a 180-degree turn within two-frames.
Crossplay needs to be optional across the board.
Literally every other shooter that offers it allows you to disable it.
And in shooters where cross-play is unavailable between console and PC, it is a bannable offense to be playing M&K for an obvious reason. Especially in tactical shooters like R6 Siege. I even had to report one of my friends due to him using M&K.
The important thing is that they will never disable Crossplayma! because otherwise they will only reduce the Population. They just have to work on the “Devices”
No I disagree.
Crossplay will be disengaged… once the bugs have been sorted and fixed. Then the game will rise up again and population won’t be an issue, so they will add in one of the updates a bullet point that reads :
- Crossplay Settings - You can now enable and disable cross-platform play. If disabled, you can only play cross-platform in Co-Op Campaign, PvE Firefight, Forge Mode, or in Custom Games with your friends.
The Arena Ranked Playlist is not mentioned. If they disable Crossplay in all Playlist I would be at a disadvantage because while playing on PC I use the Xbox One controller (just bought to play Halo)
Perhaps they can make it so Cross-Play is allowed, but input of all players in the match HAS to be one control type or another - M&K or Controller.
And if they enter a game and attempt to swap control types, they get kicked from the match, replaced with an ODST level bot, and then banned for twenty minutes?
Because despite PC player populations plummeting, I am facing against more M&K players it seems. So my best guess is that a lot of Xbox Players are also playing M&K, since it won’t be a bannable offense because Cross-Play is enabled in the first place?
This is a Very Wll Idea, i’m perfect agree
This would thus make it TRULY as equal as can be, with Skill and Luck being the true defining factor of who wins and who loses a match.
M&K players despise Controller players due to our aim assist handicap (which I personally turn off so it doesn’t interfere with my gunplay in Siege). Might as well be fighting someone with cheats on !
Controller players despised PC players due to camera control limitations that are ignored by the mouse being able to move as fast as you set it’s sensitivity to with that small button they all have! Might as well be fighting someone with spin-bot !
343i stated before launch that cross play would be input based. I agree, cross play should be input based or optional.
Yes they can. Console has had mouse and keyboard support for years.
A bannable offense until cross-play was introduced between PC and Console for MCC.
I stopped playing because infinite is nothing like 343 advertised.
What’s the point of playing a wannabe WoW/Fortnite?
I stopped playing this game because it spits on the franchise as a whole and as TheShadow_CA said, is nothing like what was advertised. On top of that, the game has a HUGE list of impossible-to-ignore issues such as rampant desyncs and lag, serious lack of content, I could go on and on!
I stopped playing multiplayer due to the desync.
I stopped playing ranked due to the imbalanced matchmaking, game instability, and gain/loss system.
The only thing I play anymore is Academy because I genuinely enjoy the game’s mechanics, desync becomes essentially a non-factor, and if the game crashes it doesn’t matter.
I wonder what the path for Halo Infinite coming back looks like. People can smash the game and douse hope all they want but I think a franchise like Halo has the resiliency of a cockroach - it can survive. If they flip the script, put their heads down and improve desync, network latency, inject some new content, revamp the progression system, and most importantly consistently communicate about the work they’re doing then I think they’ll not only put the game in a much healthier spot but also be well on their way to rebuilding trust with the community.
Yeah so get with the times
