I don’t see why some players think the DMR has been degraded so much by the latest TU. I think its still is a great weapon and since I have always used firepower with the BR as my secondary the lasted TU hasn’t changed my style of play or weapon choices.
Just using each of these weapons at the right time still makes them both deadly IMO.
IMO, the DMR dominates Settler and Complex too much
the DMR dint get “degraded” that much.
the reduced red reticle range? it is a joke. it went from 114 meters to 110. FOUR DAMN METERS.
the light rifle got a boost to 110 meter. from 90 meters.
the light rifle still produces the least amount of flinch. and the DMR STILL produces the most.
also the Light rifle unscoped is still a 5 shot. that kills slower then the DMRs 5 shot
the DMR is STILL a beast. ALL THE TIME.
The DMR is still a viable weapon, but it is no longer better/on-par with everything else in every situation.
I’m going to continue to use the DMR, but only in certain situations. I tried using the BR on Solace and I still don’t like it. I guess I should’ve seen that coming as the BR’s range has been reduced.
