-I still don't see the point in moving like a TANK!-

I still don’t see the point in moving like a TANK when you’re holding a flag or OB… I mean really? These make you massively slow but not the 1-ton armor you’re wearing?

>>Here’s to making the flag/objective physics more in tune with Halo 2, without all the flag bouncing tricks around the map.

> –PS: Flag juggling was originally used in Halo 1 and Halo 2 to make the flag go a little further if you died. NOT to make it to the capture point faster… It was only until when Halo 3 came around that they made you a frikkin turtle and removed a lot of what made objective games fun.

That is all.

Wow, Halo 3 made CTF not fun? Damn, why didn’t I hear or experience this?!?

Maybe I should’ve thrown in “compared to Halo 2” even though I thought that was an obvious comparison ._.

Flag Juggling is acceptable. While the flag carrier shouldn’t move too slow in the first place, it’s perfectly acceptable to have a slight decrease in speed to promote flag juggling which is essentially a trade of invisibility for speed, and this adds another layer of tactics and strategy to the equation thus giving the carrier’s team more options.

I also would’ve thought you’d understand when someone disagreed with you. Sure moving slow can be annoying, but it adds tension to the game.

I didn’t mind the slow movement speed, it made getting the flag require teamwork. You couldn’t just run in alone and expect to capture the flag most of the time. You had to go in with allies or else you were just a sitting duck.

So by your reasoning, Team Splockets must be the most tension-filled game in Halo ever created, amirite?

Be honest, which game did you like objective more in: Halo 2 or Halo 3?

Sorry to sound blunt, but are suggesting that there was more teamwork required to score flags in Halo 3 and Reach than in Halo 1 and Halo 2?

Moving slower is rather annoying, and doesn’t really create positive tension just an annoyance.

Flag juggling is fine, movement speed is really only an option if you can not juggle the flag.
