It probably wasn’t. It was probably a ‘great’ idea from someone, and they tried to tailor it so they could make the money that was already invested into something worthwhile.
It’s so strange the narrative that 343i is putting out there, they’re trying to make it sound like none of the people who worked on the game knew how it was turning out, or how inflexible and clearly money grabbing the whole challenge system is. It was DEVELOPED this way, yet they would have us believe this mess somehow happened by accident? 343 had this one last chance to show they are consumer first, and they couldn’t have botched it any more badly than they have. It’s unfathomable

And you excpected them to say we knew exactly how the system works and that you will hate it… which company ever did that? 
I think they just know how far behind they are and needed to get this together ASAP. They had no more time or they would have blown the launch.
“It’s a beta” is such a horse water argument lmao. Betas are for feedback. They’ve told us what we are playing now is how the MP will still be tomorrow on launch. We are giving feedback about how the game lacking so much content sucks balls.

How is it ‘part of the forums’. Forums are for discussing and debating etc. Not just throwing out shade.
Such as my comment was suggesting that that challenge would have been better suited at the beginning of the week since it takes a lot of time.

You are right. Ranked it’s the same weapons and equipment.
“Suggesting that” is not what you said, or how it was said. Instead, you complained. Saying “I think they should have a better system for the challenge” is a suggestion, that is feedback. You saying it now that you are called out on the way you said it, does not justify the initial complaint with no real suggestion.
Based on how the game feels, the three flights, the beta, how great this campaign is and a whole new engine. I believe this game is finished almost. At most it’s at 80% and I say 80% because forge is still being touched up and infection isn’t here yet.
Honestly I agree with the new challenge progression. If you want to be reward for being great tier or good you have ranked. You can progress further within that, you will be able to get the simpler challenges with easy.
I also removed the original Halo Reach having almost the exact Challenge system. Not XP but challenge system.
You can complete these challenges playing Bot matches which makes it easier.
Anyways my suggestion for fixing this current system is by 343i creating a random shuffle of maps that gets chosen with game modes that people can vote on.
I also think challenge swaps should be reward after completing 5 games every day on top of the extra swap you get through battle-pass.
I also think weekly rewards should include in-game credits maybe with the rewarded item or be the rewarded item.
I believe it should be with if they don’t plan on adding free credits through progression of battle-pass. You should be able to get a minimum of 400-500 for free each season through the non paid battle-pass and get 1000-1200 credits through the paid.
Also the new XP fix I personally feel like it should be the other way around in courage you to play longer to receive more XP but they are doing this for the people who don’t have all the time in the world.
Did you not read anything of what 343 has put out in the last few weeks? This is it, it’s the finished product. They’re not gonna flip a switch at midnight, because they even said they can’t do that, and the game is released. More playlists aren’t gonna show up, there’s not gonna be more armor options or anything. This is it. And honestly I think you’re being dense on purpose.

They are adding in the stats, they are changing and having updates done. I’ve read a majority of what they have said, and they said "They can’t change things at the flip of a switch’ for the CONSTANT complaints about every little thing that you children constantly spam on these boards, on Twitter, on Facebook, on Reddit, and any other forms of communication you can get your hands on.

Thank you. The problem is most people are complaining and want fixes but have no suggestions on how to fix. Which 343i makes a quick fix and says hey I hope you like it and people crapping on them.
It’s no difference then telling someone to make you a sandwich who has no common sense.
They have polls we can create within this forum. Let’s make post agree or disagree with what we can imagine.
Most look at both sides before attacking.

Sounds like the easiest challenge for me, even easier in ranked and even easierrrr on rank with friends.
Unfortunately the ones that are more vocal may be in the minority, but they are still more vocal than all of the others, making it seem like they are a majority.
