I sold Halo 4 for Super Mario Galaxy 2, yo

Halo 4 was bogging me down. It felt like it was years old and the game isn’t even a year old. I stuck around with it for BTB to come up, but the maps and gametypes get old too quickly.

Then there’s the whole personal loadout stuff that pretty much ruined vehicular combat and equal footing. Custom games still weren’t as good as they were in Reach and spartan ops doesn’t feel tense like firefight since there’s no penalty for dying, whereas firefight had limited lives for everyone to share.

The campaign also had zero replayability for me. Story-wise it was ok, but gameplay wise, the levels were linear and boring.

So I traded it in for super mario galaxy 2. So far, I have not regretted my decision, as I find the time spent on mario more fun than halo 4.

I might come back if the halo 4 game of the year edition will bring people back and 343 will then make more dlc-required playlists.

But would you say I made a bad move?
