Halo 5 is pretty great, seriously, but as an Arena player, I have no use for at least 90% of the things I get in REQ packs, and I find it to be a chore to sell everything, over and over, just to unlock all kinds of things I have no desire to have, and/or can’t even use in Arena. Warzone seems like it’s cool for people who are into that, but REQs are a chore and a weight on everyone who prefers Arena.
I want like 5 of the helmets…so I have to play about 2.69 bajillion games to unlock them. Thank goodness I unlocked the Warrior helmet fairly early. It’s my favorite. Unlocking that made me so happy after just not caring about spending 1.2 bajillion REQ points on stuff I didn’t want.
Also, since I haven’t unlocked every single thing that silver packs unlock, if I open a gold pack I get LESS rare unlocks than Silver packs. Just…why is it this way?
Please make REQs better. Other than that, Halo 5 is pretty great, not gonna lie.

It’s also frustrating that individual ranks aren’t based on indiviual skill - since they rely on each team you get placed on, an individual’s rank is moreso a representation of the average overall skill of each team that matchmaking places you on. It’s illogical, but hey, if I tip my win:loss ratio to much over or under 50:50, then it will team me up with players who the system thinks will get that ratio back to 50:50, which is the real goal of the system…so it works in that sense…lol, just sayin’.

I’ve been playing Halo since before Halo was on Xbox Live(I played Halo 1 on Xbox Connect). I really do think Halo 5 is great. I know this post doesn’t have much in the way of suggestions or forward thinking, but I’m not getting paid to do this and the game is good enough without a better REQ system. I just wanted to share my opinion…it is a forum.
Cool story. I keep 100% of my REQs. I’ll give you the “why can’t I delete X many of these at once”, but even then there has been a work around. I don’t understand why you’re opening so many packs though. If you’re tired of deleting all the REQs then just stack REQ points. Don’t buy the packs if you don’t play wz since it’s such an annoyance.
Cool story. My phone submitted that post before I was done, but I keep opening REQ packs because I want like 3 of the helmets. That’s literally all I want to unlock. I love playing the game as it is, so I’m not like upset. However, if I wanted to make Halo a better game and I worked for 343, I would appreciate this honest opinion.

Each time you level up, you get a req pack. There is no armor pieces in these packs, but you can sell the req cards, get more RP and so you can buy another req pack faster. From your point of view, I think this is the only reason you could be interested on XP boost
Also, you can sell the boost and get RP, so my point is not valid … My bad
I honestly wish so much for a req pack that only contains cosmetical reqs. I feel you, it’s the same for me, I sell most of the stuff and work for the Armors and Skins and so on. I just wish there would be a pack for this, maybe like you get 5 things, and the more you have unlocked, the more it costs… like for common 2k, rare 5k and mythic 20k or so. You’d still have to work up, like you do from Bronze to Gold packs, but you’d miss out all this unused stuff.
Wait, you don’t care about REQs and want them to be better? What? Do you know they just improved the value of Silver and Gold packs in the MOR update?!
