If I leave two games, I’m put on probation. It doesn’t discourage people from quitting since I’ve played plenty of games where I had my team quit because the other team would pummel us to the ground. The I’m forced to play games I don’t want to while I’m being beaten out of the other team alone. It should be removed.
It discourages me from quitting, a lot, I used to quit like there was no tomorrow in Halo 3, 233 games I have quit, possibly even more, I am just going off my EXP penalty.
It should stay as it discourages more than less to not quit.

The number of people who quit from my games and the number of games that I played that had people quit say otherwise.
Okay, I’m not a habitual quiter, so when people quit in teams, I’m stuck being outnumbered. I hate that very much because it affects the entire balance of the match as it may be become one sided.
The quit ban should stay, and in fact, it should be harsher by losing cR from quiting.

Except that people still quit as they do right now.

well…if you are quitting because you are being beaten to hard you need to get better so that doesn’t happen lol, but in my honest opinion I like the quit ban to an extent…when my internet craps out and that counts as a quit it seems a bit unfair, but at the end of the day it isn’t up to us unfortunately, and rarely do developers listen to the little people

I know they would still quit despite if the harsher punishment existed. Discouragement is needed when players are doing the unnecessary thing.
Taking out the quit ban would just give another good reason to quit all the time without a problem, and it would affect you too.

The problem with the quit ban is, you get a lot of chances before finally being banned, which isn’t how it should be, you should be punished on your first quit, like you lose a certain amount of cR or you are quit banned first time.
My suggestion would be:
Quit 1 - 5 minute ban
Quit 2 - 15 minute ban
Quit 3 - 30 minute ban
Quit 4 - 1 hour ban
And one hour bans for every time after that.

Only problem with this is if your connection dips and you get DCd from the game, then you are banned for 5 minutes because of your internet? Not too fair, I personally like the ban where it stands now

lol no. Its because the other team has mics and coordinate well as a TEAM whereas I’m matched up with randoms who treat objective games like slayer.

I quit around two to three games before i’m put on probation.

I hate when that happens…I definitely sypmathise with you there…NOBODY seems to have mics…or a sense of how to play objective

I find it fair, the advised connection for Xbox LIVE is 5 D/L & 1 Upload I believe, if you are lagging out of games constantly, you need to solved that problem.
When you lag out, you are making your team suffer with a man down, or cause the game to drag on longer as that team mate could be killing enemies, but instead, left with no one to get those kills.
If you are in an area were you can’t get any better internet than what you have, then you should use the Good Connection search restriction all the time.

I should try this since I’ve lagged out of games before. I didn’t like the fact that lagging out of games counts as quitting. If the quit ban ignores the lagging out, I don’t believe that you manipulate the system consistently to lag out as quitting. Lagging out occurs mostly in host changes and random, abnormal connection.
It should go in my opinioun.
Some games its just better to have less noobs on your team, that means less kills for the other team. Plus if there are really few players the other team tends to split up meaning less double teaming on their part and more on mine.
2 vs 4 I like those odds.
you gave no point why it should be removed, people still quit but there would be way more quitters if it was removed
