If you played the beta, I think you know not to be worried to the extent some people are. We already know 343 knows gameplay, so with a good base, a promising campaign and warzone, and rumored work on improving forge and theater, I think we’re good.

If revival wasn’t the best villain theme, if pylons wasn’t the best enemy theme, if 117 and mantis weren’t both some of the best vehicle section music, then sure, I agree, but I don’t.

Not to be rude, but I couldn’t disagree more. That’s just something people assume because it’s cool to rag on Halo 4, but outside of 343’s decision to put the worst piece of the entire soundtrack on Halo 4’s menu, the music has truly blossomed in many ways. I’m personally glad they didn’t go the “safe” route and just do another version of “dun dun dun DUNNNNNNNN, dun dun dun DUNNNNNNNNN…!!!”

To be fair, Halo 4 didn’t have Marty O’Donell.
I just finished replaying ODST on the MCC, and I love the soundtrack.
