I recommend the shop system be updated to be closer to what Ghost Recon Breakpoint has instead of Fortnite

So.

A lot of fans HATE the current business model of Halo Infinite. I mean seriously, we have to pay $20 worth of in-game currency (what is essentially V-Bucks).

I propose an alternative that would allow for players to still utilize their in-game currency, BUT to increase the value of said currency AND so that if they miss out on a day or a week of gameplay they can still get the items they want.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon - Breakpoint, players can go to the player hub and find a shop that contains HUNDREDS of cosmetics that they can choose from to purchase with in-game currency that isn’t microtransaction currency. I understand that realistically that would not be a profitable business model per-se, but there are tweaks we can make to this.

For example, like in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six - Siege, players can purchase cosmetics with either Renown that they earn from matches OR they can purchase cosmetics with R6 Credits in exchange for real money.

Another thing that could be adopted from GR Breakpoint is the second shop. Some items are locked exclusively behind money purchases, though this was a smaller list of items compared to the main shop in-game, but it did offer things like cross-promo materials.

I believe that this model would be the best to satisfy both fans and 343’s investors that are seeking profit numbers. Fans get cosmetics at a cheaper price, and as a result all non-battle pass items are made available at the start of every season, so each season will add in a bunch of new content. And every day / week we could still have items at a discount. A small bundle of content where prices are reduced by like 25% - 50%, depending on the rarity of said items.

You’ve already updated your Event Battle Pass model to be like that of GR Breakpoints, so why not adopt some other aspects of the Tom Clancy business models in order to both satisfy the fanbase that seeks cosmetics and the investors that seek profits?

Thoughts anyone?
